Swollen lymph nodes on neck, armpit and groin

Has anyone been diagnosed with anything yet? i started with swollen nodes in my neck 4 months ago then groin now in my arm pit.. ive been one 2 antibiotics and have seen 4 doctors 3 specialists that dont know whats going on... Im now being sent to a infectious disease doctor. They all refuse to do a biopsy on the lymph nodes..my blood work is normal but i have a lot of symptoms such as itchy skin night sweats headaches very tired and have lost over 20 pounds in the 4 months (sense symptoms started) and a lot of pain in lower back and neck.

Hi there, i have the exact same thing, im 25 and have had it for quite a few years. My doctor has never put me on any meds, just says its my body fighting an infection, but there is no infection that im aware of. Its very concerning and my family (and me) are worried sick about it.

if u r concerned go for a YOUR FUTURE HEALTH(YFH) testing i think!

they may answer ur concerns.

I'm sorry for all of you with thisapperantly common issue. It's weird though no doctors have an answer or even seem concered about it. Also I quess I am one of the few who are male(55) and have this issue. I started out with a somewhat squishy lump on  ym neck that who get bigger and smaller at various times(also alot of tingeling too) then it stayed and has not gone away. If I look over the right shoulder it really aggravates it . Now I have it on the left side as well(no tingling yet). And now it has turned up under my right arm. This has been about a one year progression. Now, here's the catch , I have had a partial corpectomy and have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and depression(who wouldn't be) consequently I am on a littney of drugs for pain and depression. Until I saw this site I was freakin out about cancer etc..etc..
so is it cancer, stress,fibromyalgia,or side effects from the meds???

Yes..about 2 months or so ago i started getting swollen lymphnodes in my armpits. Within a week or so they would go away. I dont have any symptoms directing toward cancer and was told that if the come then go away you should have nothing to worry about.

I am having the sam issue as you but my lymph nodes have spasm attacks were the would just have severe pain for about a minute to 30 mins i can't move when it happens. I was hospitalized for a week and ever single test came back normal or neagitive. Then after being hospitalized 2 weeks later i got a severe sinus infection and a ragging ear infection. I am not sure how old you are, but i am younger then 15. Now i am being tested for lyme diases, cat scratch fever and if they come back neagitive then they are going to do a biopsy of my lyphy nodes.

i know this is an older thread, but heres something to think about

 

i have been having swelling in three areas: stomach (abdomen) groin and just recently armpit. the stomach and groin didnt/dont hurt. the armpit however....brutal. 

 

heres what i think i have, no iahvent seen a doctor yet but i will if it gets worse; here is also what i have done/doing to treat.

 

first, if you have these isues or similar, if you want to like me skip the doctor for awhile, you must eliminate the possibility of cancer and a few other things that would require immediate treatment . so start with this: make sure what you are seeing are lymph nodes and not pipmples, cysts, boils, or localized pore infections. these are all easy to get and you can get them communicably (from dirt...dirty skin, exposed pore...like that) if you have a boil, cyst, zit, or even infected pore, or ingrown hair, you will eventually get a head. even if its like an 'undergrounder' you can still get fluid out of it if you squeeze hard enough. now i do not reccomend that...an OCD like action squeezing to hope you see pus or bile...but if you have, then not lymph system. lymphs CAN be drained, by doc, but it requires lancing. and numbing. try to cut or puncture it yourself you may pass out. and will for sure give yourself an infection. thats part what i did which is how i made it worse

 

cause this thread is old and i dont want to waste time in case no reads it, im gonna keep short; so if you do read it and want me to expound, reply and we'll see what other data i can offer

 

first, i am 'sexually active' at least as often as i can be :)   so if you are remember, STDs that go untreated can manifest in many ways, one being swollen lymps, another being almost any described raise blister, bump, pimple etc etc...so if you have swollen lymphs, aside from cancer, immediately research and eliminate the posibility of syphilis. if you caught syph, you want o catch it in stageI and treat and you'll be ok (and not spread it) 

 

other sex sh*t can cause it too though. i had sex with this girl who had either a nasty yeaster, or BV or triciminosis (and yeah she smelled/looked clean-must have douched right before. i didnt use condom but that wouldnt mattered....where i got it was on my stomach. right above penis...right where she would have, while being on top, have been grinding. unusual for it to present there and not ALSO on phallus, but NOT impossible.

 

yeast etc is wierd....some girls will give you an infection even when they dont have one, and (and i know no doctor would back this but its true) soem girls can actually help get RID of a yeast infection you have (topical not internal) just from sex. its a pH thing. anyway, i let the thing go, got worse (but didnt spread) and eventually got me sick (topical infection affected health-internal bacterial infection) its not as serious as it could be, but did cause swelling. now mine is actually not lymph nodes....but for a while i though it was. so anyway here bit more data then im done

 

 

first, use hot compresses (hot water+washcloth) if its cyst/boil/zit this will help bring a head; if lymph, this will help the swelling. so do that asap. five-10 min at a time, once/twice a day. though 5 times a day ok...just not for 12 hrs straight

 

revaluate from there if its lymph or not; note when painful; note when hard vs 'moveable'  etc.

 

also, as a lot of you are self-described as 'young'...anyway. young. gainig weight. got a few swollen areas. possibly pimples/cysts/boils etc...following me.....and you dont have fever or any other symptoms cancer, syphlis, lymphoma, or even arenet  sexually active, or maybe just few times and used condoms.....but STILL have the swelling..here is the key; the magic f*****g key i swear.....also the reason my issue didnt self-resolve, got worse, etc....even if you are not gaining weight but especially if you are....

 

its poison. you do it to yourself, probably only half aware. its high fructose corn syrup poisoning. it will delay your healing...if and if you drink enough soda, eat enough ketsup etc etc candy  etc etc BBQ sauce..ect the list goes on...that sh*t...they (corn farmers, big business, coporations in food industry) they have never ALLOWED a full proper scientific study. but preservatives COUPLED with large amounts of high fructose corn syrup...especially if youre fat but ONLY in 1/2 areas. so your not fat but just have huge belly for example....your body, your metabolism can t process all the waste quick enough...and dont knwo what to do with the 'bad' fat  'bad' carbs etc. so what happens? your body startys to store it the only way it can...at a rapid rate of ingestion...first in common fat area (belly man, ass-woman) and then ....my theory...swollen glands, over and over new boils/cysts/zits...see where im going with this? see if you are under 30, SO much of what you have ever known as 'food' is garbage. full c**p, genetically modded...and pumped with heroin i.e. high fructose corn syrup. those you been to a doctor and got antibiotics, or nsaids or both and it 'went away/came back' 'nevr fully went away' ask yourself, how much processed food with preservatives, how much non real protien (ie macdonalds burger or wendys chicken) adn how much high fructose corn syrup were you CONTINUALLY ingesting the whole time? start by not haveing ANY of that, while treating, even if its natrural alternatives OR antibiotics, see if that eliminates it. 

 

and if you arre goign to not have any HFCS, it has to be for at least 6 months, not just a week or 5 weeks...sh*t is like radiation...it permeates. on a celluler level. i tuely believe if a study were commisioned this is what they would find. good news is your body can  repair if you allow it to. something to think about

If it is a lymphoma or cancer, your bloods and stuff may come back clear, the only safe diagnostic test is a biopsy of the gland.  The other stuff (anti-biotics etc) are to try and eliminate ordinary things like infections, so if your still having swollen glands don't leave it, quick diagnosis for cancer is urgent so get it ruled out!

I don't wanna scare you of something but I've been reading a lot about Lymph nodes but the other signs that you mentioned are signs of HIV infection. I don't know how will you react on this but to if I were to choose between HIV and cancer ? I'll choose the one easier to fight with healthy living and safe sex.

hi my son has the same thing. He is 6 we be to the doctor, hospital and give him antibiotics. i see a guy in malanda for my neck and back so i took Ari to him and told me to take away all dairy foods and milk for 6 weeks and have lemon in his water. he is getting better.

i have sore/burning i suppose you call it armpit and left breast on and off, for weeks and weeks. i went to the doctor as my armpit hurt the day before i felt under it and found two lumps. thats why i went to the doctor. he then felt around and said i had nodes up in my groin and small ones in my neck. plus blood tests prior to that showed slightly low white blood cells and also cortisol was slightly out (cant remember if he said high or low) and also my female hormones were out suggesting maybe the menopause coming on.

i had been feeling unwell for a bit, but before i went this last time with the lumps i was feeling better.

i do have some allergies for years, someone said on this forum that maybe thats cause of i think swollen nodes?

i also have underactive thyroid for 10 years.

also get Raynaud's, my hands get very bad in cold weather and even my feet too sometimes.

Plus migraines

i too worry about cancer and lumps.

i went again to my doctors and another doctor checked me over, they cannot find any breast lumps, and this doctor said it might turn out that is just becuase they can feel things easier on me as i am slim, but i think that its weird they are lumps, and i am worried and my armpit and left breast feel different and they do hurt on and off for weeks and weeks.

my female hormones are out and periods messed up, so it could be menopuase as well, or could it be something else altering my whole body?

i just wonder if anyone has slightly low WBC, glands up, with painful ones in armpit (but not painful in groin and neck, but up) and cortisol out (but i have been stressed recently) and female hormones out might be a seperate issue, just my age dont know.

I have a general medicine app at the hospital on the 16th of April, hope to get some answers then. and they are also sending me to an Endocrinologist, but just on the waiting list for this no actual app yet. so could be ages for this one.

these appointments are from the first doctor that i saw at my local doctors.

so what can this all be?

I was on antibiotics too for a month 2 tablets a day of 100mg of Doxyclcline Capsules, due to something else (eyelid problems) and you would have thought if an infection (checked the antibiotics and it does lots off things so you would think if infection would have got rid of it too and reduced nodes, but it did not), but how are you today?

also get Raynaud's, I hate this my fingers hurt so much when this happens, they go white, they then go a horrible mauve colour and then i get worried as that is not good, and i cant even get a cup of tea, try and make one, with the little finger and thumb which dont seem to go, and warm my hands up, get them back, as they can stay like this for ages, and then that starts to worry me. even having two pairs of gloves on does not stop them. driving with cold steering wheel can do it. other peoples hands do not do this. had this for a few years now in the winter. my hands get very bad in cold weather and even my feet too sometimes. is this all connected to something else a condition?

My close friend has large  lymph nodes almost everywhere on the upper torso and was recently diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas, Apparently the swollen lymph nodes are a sign the body is fighting.
