Use the organic monomer to mix the acrylic powder. The best brand that worked for me is ASP. I was able to have my nails done and no more itching or soreness. They also have the primer.
I use to get acrylic nails and they became itchy and red with burning. continually got worse and had to stop. I stayed away for 10 years. about 6 months ago I started with get nails. now it is starting all over again. found out all nails products are made from the same acrylan (spelling wrong), so once allergic always allergic. can even take years to become allergic, then it never goes away.....
Could you please direct me to an online site. I am not finding any available at the retailers
Yes !!! Take them off, same happened to me. I am now a certified nail tec and have to have gloves on when I have a client that wants acrylic
I got the acrilic nails over a year ago, but the soreness and itchiness just started about two months ago. The salon is spotless, and all precautions are taken at all times.

HELP
I just got an acrylic manicure. The salon stated that they changed the product. My cuticles are itchy and inflamed and sensitive. I've been putting cortisone cream on them but it only relieves it for a short while. What can I do?
It's probably because you let her use a Dremel tool on your natural nails and she ground them too thin. You should never ever let someone use a Dremel tool in your natural nails. They are legally only to be used for filing down the acrylic.
I am having the same problem, switched back to acrylics and was worse. Drives me bonkers, especially at night. Have taken antistamine, put itch eze cream on hands as this has an anaesthestic base with tea tree oil. slight relief. Actually slept with hands under an ice pack and got some relief.
I have the same issue... My nail bed is much to sensitive to the acrylic powder and liquid combo.. I now have to use the gel alternative as a barrier before I allow them to apply the acrylic. It works wonders. I suggest you give it a shot.
