On the outside of my vagina but on the inside of the lips there are very tiny bumps that trail up the lips. The best way to describe the bumps is like liking at an irritated and inflamed taste bud on the tongue. This is the second time it's happened and I've gone to the doctors only for the gyno to tell me that it could be stubble irritation since I used to shave down in the area. He suggested I trimmed instead. We did a test and looked for anything else but I came up negative. This time around I want shaving. I have recently had sex and was dry a few times. My partner also had hair that was also creating a lot of friction in that area. so I'm thinking that has something to do with it? Is there a cream to rub or anything to take to sooth the uncomfortable feeling until the irritation passes?
Hi, does this only happen when you have sexual contact or do they come up at other times?

The only other time it's happened I wasn't sexually active. Just woke up with a lot of itching and discomfort. No bad odors, no unusual discharge colors.

Ok but you say you use to shave then could it of been caused by stubble, like stubble rash when your partners hair was rubbing against you? What do they actually look like?
