I'm 18 and I'm going though the same thing..I've had these for several months well almost a year and they're fleshy colored bumps. They only turn white to the touch and turn back pink. There isn't any puss in them because I check every day to see of try change they come in rows and from a what I hear hpv and herpes are everywhere on the vagina not just the vestibule. Plus they are on my left side
I went to my GP when I noticed these type of bumps. I have several, either side of the inner lips. I only had one bump for a while then a few more appeared. As more appeared I noticed that they follow a straight line
I was told they are harmless sebaceous glands. Apparently they can become prominent in some women. If they become infected, as sebaceous glands sometimes do, they are treated with antibiotics. I have only ever had one become infected in over 10 years.
Vestibular papilloma toss would bemet guess. There as some ambiguity about whether these are hpv related but most experts agree now that they ate just a variation in normalfemale anatomy.
I had the same thing. A tiny little barely noticeable bump that even my Dr. couldn't see with his magnifier.. However HE DID do a biopsy....unfortunately below the bumps. ugh! Only happened 3 days ago but ticked and concerned still :( Hope you were able to get some answers.
Hi, it could be something called forbyce spots/forbyce granules which are raised sebaceous glands and are completely normal sweety. I have them as well.
Hope this helps,
Letitia haronga.
Hey,
I Have The Same Thing Also, But I Believe That They Are Fordyce Spots (Normal,Completely Harmles) But Just To Be Sure Im Goin To The Gyno Next Week. Oh And Im Only 15.
I have been trying to figure out what I have for so long and while I trusted it not to be something bad because it hasn't worried any of my doctors, it's still been something that's made me so unhappy. It's definitely vestibular papillae. Thank you so much for this post. So relieved, and I understand now.
I have the same thing . I went to the gyno and she said there are some people that just naturally have bumps there. So, everything should be normal
Im experiencing everything on this post. Your story especially helps because I too have a weak immune system. Your post makes perfect sense :) I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this
Hi everyone! Here to share - I had the same issue recently. Tiny tiny whiteish bumps on the smooth pink area around my vaginal lips. I'm positive they were not genital warts, but couldn't figure out what they might be. I have very sensitive skin, so figured they might just be a reaction to detergent or something. I made an effort to cleanse the area with a gentle cleanser once a week and applied a cream I found at my local Pharmac pharmacy called Derma|e Tea Tree Antiseptic Cream before bedtime. In two days I noticed a huge difference, the bumps began to disappear and are almost gone now. I hope this post will help those dealing with similar bumps. And for those of you who are celibate because of this, please reconsider. Nothing is worth the loss of physical / emotional intamaticy. If it's not warts, it's not contagious so don't worry about it. :)
Hi guest , what you have described sounds like they could fordyce spots the same things makes get on there penis head and foreskin and both sexes can get around the mouth and lip area, there not harmful or even contagious and just caused by blocked serbatious glands so using the cleanser on them probably cleaned the pours and unblocked the glands.
This helps me though! :) I thought I might have something but I googled fordyce spots and that's exactly what it is!
Hi, I noticed I had these bump like things which I'm pretty sure are fordyce spots on my inner lips of my vagina and some on the outside of the lips. I know these aren't the proper terms. They don't bother me at all or cause pain unless I really tty squeezing them hard which I don't really Do. I'm almost positive they are fordyce spots from many hours of researching and looking at photos. But I've never been to a doctor for anything involving down there. I know I need to get a pap but I'm scared that the doctor might say something about the fordyce spots. I've been sexy ally active a few years ago but not recently. I've only ever done anything with my boyfriend of 5 years and ik he's never done anything with anyone else and that he doesn't have anything. I think I've had these spots since before being sexy ally active and around puberty. If I go to the doctor and she sees them I'm scared she is gonna tell my parents about them. Are these normal? I've been freaking out and get anxiety attacks over this. Help me please
Hi guest, by what you describe they sound very much like fordyce spots but without being able to see makes it hard to say for sure. I understand how stressful it must be just getting a pap test done after what won't read with out the stress of what the spots might be as well, the best thing to do is cool a pap and get it all checked out for your own peace of mind :)
They very likely could be fordyce spots. Fordyce spots CAN be present on the labia majora or labia minora. They could also be vulva papillomatosis. They are often misdiagnosed as a an STD. You could even have a mix of both.
