I'm going through the same thing right now. I took a HPT on Thursday and Friday and both came out clearly positive. I went to the Doctor today (Monday) and their urine test came out negative. The nurse took a blood sample and explained that sometimes, the doctor's office urine tests are not as sensitive as the HPT's so the blood test would be a more accurate result. Now the waiting begins. I was so disappointed that I came home and took another HPT and it too was positive. I hope this helps for you, I have my fingers crossed for all of us! :-)

hi sorry havent been on this in a while. yeah i went the doctor and she said i was pregnant so im so happy. im 7 weeks pregnant now :-)
I had the same issue. I took 2 hpt and they were both faintly positive. So I went to the doctor and their urine test was negative and they suggested blood tests. Today I got the phone call - positive!!! Don't get discouraged!

I am going through the same thing, I took a HPT-Clear Blue and it was positive and the line was so dark and clear and came up right away, this was on Sunday. I went to the doctors on Tuesday and it came back negative. I was told that it could be because my Urine was diluted because I drank two big bottles of water, or it is too earl. My period is due today (May 25, 2011) I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow so I am going to take another HPT in the morning and then one at the doctors in the afternoon. If the one in the morning comes up positive I am going to bring it with me.
I am in the same boat EXCEPT i took 5 home pregnancy tests in two days, 2 first response both lightly positive but showed up right away, then i took 1 clearblue digital said pregnant then i drank a bunch of water and took one and it said negative, then i took another one and its said pregnant and this morning another one and it said pregnant. Then i drank a lot of fluids on my way to the doctor and it came back negative, they trough it away in the trash can in my room ( now i think im crazy) so i looked at it after they had left and there were TWO light lines there....so i pointed it out to the doctor and he told me i was right. I got blood work, but im so nervous he mentioned a chemical pregnancy, and/or that i could be really early. My husband and I have been trying so of course this would be amazing, but i dont understand how i could have FIVE obviously positive home tests and a negative one at the doctors 3 days later ( when i looked at it it was slightly positive) but its the fact of the matter. Does anyone actually know what could be the cause of this? maybe actually being too early? They said i would be about 4 weeks so it would make sense for their test not to detect it sometimes. UGHHH we shall see i guess.
i have been tryng for years i am also an epileptic and have been told i could not have children, i did a test and was fanit line pos and then did clear blue at night and neg then this morn neg if i am i would only be few days if that my periods are 30 to 40 days can never predict. i was really stressed yest and am thinking that maybe the hormone was high cause of this can aneone help me
Last week I took 7 hpt which all came up as faint positives.
Yesterday I saw a nurse that took a urine test & told me I was definitely not pregnant.
I have since taken 2 more hpt which were both faint positives.
I have worked out that I would be 6 weeks 5 days today.
Maybe the nurses test wasn't sensitive enough to pick up on my pregnancy???
Going for a detailed scan on Tuesday- so fingers crossed!
i am having kind of the same problem, i went to the health department and they did a pregagncy test and it was positive, then i took one at the obgyn office and it was negative, i also drank 32oz cups of water before i went to the doctors office. this was within a week. now i having a blood test done. still waiting. i was wondering how did it turn out for u? Were u pregant after all?
I took two home pregnancy tests... one came back with one bold line and one faint line and the other specifically said "pregnant" 1-2 weeks! I went to the doctor today and he done a urine test which came back negative... he sent me for bloodwork...(still waiting on the results) Meanwhile.. I started spotting since this and am not (it seems) having my period which is right on time... I'm very confused... Am I pregnant or am I not??? HELP!!!

I'm in the same boat and i don't know what to do i take the pregnancy test at night and they come back positive and then i went at 10 am to the doctor and the urine pregnancy came back negative. What am i to do?

Hi i am confused because i toke 2 Pregnancy test and they both

the same thing happen to me i had two at home test that came back positive and when i went to the doctors and that test came back negitive.and the doctor said that there was still hope too. but the only diffreance is i didnt drink alot of water before i went and it was the first urine of the day too. me and my boyfriend are very upset but we have an other appointment to go to and we are wishing that there is hope for me to be pregnant. wish me luck and good luck to you..
