See, with me, it's been all the same. White, thick/clumpy discharge and frankly, I think its so nasty. But I have no clue what to do! A lot of y'all have been saying it started with your birth control or something, but recently, I stopped taking my birth control/. (Tri-sprintec) and this all started up! Normally, I wouldn't have sex while not on birth control but hey, cant help it sometimes..
But it's gotten so annoying. I get dried up, and well, my partner was fingering me and his fingers were covered and .. ew. I don't know what to do!!
Eating yogurt and acidophilus will not put healthy bacteria in your vagina. It's a myth. I have a BS in bio and we discussed this in Microbiology. There is no way for the bacteria to travel from your gi tract to your vagina. However, you could soak a tampon in plain yogurt and insert it. Swear it works.
I still use the lube every night...but very little in amount...I just squirt not even half a pump and shove it up there....my slip is normal again which was my biggest concern. Every once in a while, I still get a tiny tiny bit of white discharge but nothing ridiculous. Before I got this goo issue, I never had any vaginal issues and no discharge at all. So I'm ok with it if i just get minimal discharge as long as my slip is back. I have sex and oral sex with my bf no problem now...I'm not even worried about this anymore. When I didnt use the oils, the goo stopped me from getting wet properly and it would not feel right ever. Now when I have sex, it's like it used to be. I'm on my second batch of lube. Switch up the oils from time to time so your body doesn't get used to the same ones. Also, I didn't put as many drops in my second batch so the smell isn't so strong. I'd keep your first batch strong though so the oils do their job. But the scent goes away after u insert it. And I tasted it....the love lube alone tastes sweet..adding the oils doesn't make it taste too bad...it will mix in with your own body fluids anyway. I don't think I want to stop using this. I think it's a healthy thing to do...almost like brushing your teeth for maintenance. I never had to maintain this area before...but who cares? Life is about change and for some reason our vag's decided to take a turn for the worst...so do the best u can with it and dont let it consume you. This is the first time in three years I don't feel self conscious about this problem. It's liberating.
Oh and by the way....I never wanna douche or shove capsules etc up there again. I think it's just messing up the natural balance and ecosystem. Stick with the lube girls. It's sooo easy.
Hi Essential Oils Girl, I'm on my 3rd. day of treatment and I was making such a mess trying to apply the Goo Gone Lube with my fingers that I decided to get an applicator from a yeast infection treatment I found unused in my house and started applying the lube + oils with it. I have to say I found it so much easier and less messy. The only problem is that I haven't been scooping out the goo before inserting the treatment and I was talking to EvesGift girl and she reminded me of doing that... so from now on I'm going to scoop it out first but probably still aplly it with the applicator.
On another note, I first didnt like much the fragrance of all the oils combined but I believe they changed a bit and they do smell kind of like roses now which I like better :)
One other detail that I mention to Eves Gift just a bit ago and I would like to mention to you here too: whenever I apply the treatment I kind of feel the fragrance from the oils in my mouth for a while. Do you feel that too? I guess this is just like some other medicine with a strong fragrance - like eucalyptus - which you end up feeling in you mouth after taking it?
Anyways, since I've been applying with the applicator I haven't really checked if the goo got better nor if it is gone.. I'm actually a bit scared to check and find that it hasnt changed, but I do want to know so I will start checking it speacially before I apply the treatment and I'll make sure to report it here so everyone know if the treatment is consistent. Thanks again for all your comments. :)
