Possibly you're allergic to detergent soap or even pads. I have the same issues, so frustrating.
Look up cyclic vulvovaginitis. Hope this helps!
Came across this thread and am relieved to know I am not the only woman who experiences this. For as long as I could remember, once a month, usually a week before or after my period my vagjna gets "angry." She's irritated, feels swollen and I have more discharge than normal. I have been tested and am clean, so I know it's not an STI or anything of the sort. Considering it happens once a month like clockwork I have chalked it up to hormones, but one thing that helps relieve the irration is COCONUT OIL. I highly recommend it to you ladies. Since it's natural, it doesn't hurt your body and is so soothing. I hope this helps!
this occurs right before ovulation and right after its known as the dry period. Very uncomfortable and annoying. Some dryness is more so in some individuals. Lube helps a lot even when not having sex it gets rid of the burning and itchiness
i am in the same boat every month after my cycle i burn for a couple of days and then it goes away and the doctors always say no stds no nothing i jus hate it. im so miserable around that time
This happened to me also actually im having it right now and for the past months i don't know why and i don't have std or any infection cause by having a sex it is very uncomfortable and i can't help myself not to scratch it what can I do to stop this itchiness?
There’s a Monistat itch cream that is mostly hydrocortisone and that my gyno specifically gave me a sample of dye my experiencing problems similar to others on this thread. It should be safe to use, but only for external itching and irritation.
There is also a product made by Vagisil for feminine irritation treatment they also do a pH balance wash and feminine hygiene wipes as well as several other products if you can't find the Monistat one.
I broke my knee in half. I had to get surgery. They put screws and plates in my knee. I was in the er for a week. In that time I had to get a catheter. It took 3 doctors to finally get it in. Afterwards I kept getting burning when I pee. So when I left the er I waited a week to see if it would go away. It didn't so I went to a gynecologist I told him what happened. He did my annual pelvic and piss screen. He gave me antibiotics. I took them all and after my period went off it started again. So I went back no std no nothing. This was over a year ago I'm still burning sometimes before and after my period. I just want to throw the whole vagina away and grow a penis. There is no cure as of yet. Maybe if we keep posting somebody will officially look into this. Best of luck sincerely your burnt buddy.
I talked to a doctor and they are unsure to exactly what it is and always just try to stick me on antibiotics which usually lead to an actual yeast infection. Anyway I did some research of my own and found out that a bath with one cup of baking soda helps to alleviate some of the irritation. Apply coconut oil afterwards. Has to be all natual, unprocessed organic coconut oil. Also a daily probiotic with a very high amount of active cultures helps as well.
where can you buy these creams?
I had this ureaplasma but several doctors told me it’s useless trying to treat it. I have all the same symptoms as everyone else on this thread.
Seems like that is it. Thanks , I feel better now knowing that it’s not warts
This happens to me too, I’ve started using coconut and lavender oil around the edges and it helps tremendously. It speeds up the healing process and eases the discomfort
Hey, I use reusable cups and this is actually causing my after period dryness and itchiness. Its also quite sore, ive been using sudocrem and it worked the first time but now I just feel like it no longer works. I love my cup so im not going to stop using it but it is damn annoying when I get this after most periods, it'll start like a day after my flow finishes and then lasts for about 4-5 days.
