I think you should. When I get it it feels horrible but doctors everywhere say it's something else but ovious lay everyone on this page have gone to doctors and found nothing that can stop this c**p. So what now? We power through it? No thanks
I've had this problem for a year now sometimes it happens before my period but always happens every month after it and lasts about a week. My vag area is red itchy and sometimes I get clear wet discharge, me and my bf were virgins when we met and both loyal the dr tested me for stds just to be safe and results were negative every dr just sends me home with a cream but the problem comes back every month even when it's not itchy I notice I'm red down there. Whenever I go to gyno results come back negative for yeast also. I know it's not from birth control cause this came before I started it also it is not cause of condoms I don't use soaps or scented feminine products! This problem is putting my sex life on a hold and is making me feel so depressed and plunging my confidence :/
Vaginal Dermatitis. Your GYN Can give you a steroid cream for vaginal use.
I've had this burning feeling mostly around or before my period too and weird discharge, and it also burned worse during urination. I recently found out though that it's from not drinking enough water. Apparently because of period hormonal changes you get more dehydrated and that throws everything off.
I have the same issue. I discovered I'm allergic to almost all pads, so now I use Natracare products. They're all cotton. I still have a little irritaion at the end of my period, but
No more swelling and burning
No more swelling and burning
I used to have this problem after my period, i believe it was due to the pads I was using. i switched brands a lot but ended up having trouble with almost anything I tried. I recently switched to cloth pads because of this and the irritation is completely gone! I'd check out switching to those if you're still having this problems. there are tons of companies like lunapads or gladrags and you could even find people on etsy who do this too.
I also get a really thick white discharge and it smells really bad. Do you get what looks like a heat rash when it happens? I know it isn't any kind of std or sti.
It may be TSS Toxic shock syndrome from the tampons. I'm going to change my absorbency on my last two days of menstrual for the last 4 months.
special deodorants can make it smell better, but if you're having these symptoms because you're allergic to certain scents/chemicals (e.g. in tampons/pads), using the deodorant may make the itching worse
I had the same problems for years and doctors couldn't find any infection in my body. I start researching on the internet for natural remedies and what cures me was baking soda. Take 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda in a lukewarm water and sit down with your vagina in that water for 10 minutes. Repeat this every night or every second night before going to bed. Your ph will balance and treat any nasty bacteria you might have ( even if its an overgrowth of a good bacteria). I also took zinc and 3000mg odoourless garlic pill every day ( 1 pill of 22mg of zinc and 1 pill of 3,000 mg of garlic). If you are following this, you will get better! Strong health!
Did the natural pads help?
I have a spot it's like a whitish ulcer looking not raised at all. Always comes either during O after my period. It's burns and hurts when I wipe. And burns with water. Dr had said maybe herpes but it never goes away just stops burning and it's only that one spot. It's driving me crazy not knowing what it is. I know there is no way it's herpes. I did suffer from yeast infections after my period for like 3 months it kept coming back that's the only thing I can think of.
It's s bacterial infection.. I can't remember the names sorry (urea plasma) or something like that. The bacteria is so small it's almos undectactable. I've been suffering from vaginal itch for quite sometime now. It's so depressing. It starts from my clit to the inside.
this has been happening to me recently every time I get my period for about 5 months. did you find out what it was??
I also have this condition. It is getting worse as I am.gettin older. It's always a week before my period and lasts a few days afterwards. My mom also suffered from this.I also get U.T.I. as well. Being a woman sucks!
