wow, i'm surprised so many others are dealing with this too. Been having sex since I was sixteen, same guy (we have been married 2 1/2 years now.) Hi! I just recently have started experiencing this exact thing. When I have sex, my hands start to go numb, then my feet, my legs and arms and then my face. I've never experience vaginal numbness until just last night i could only feel the pressure inside of me and not the sensation.
I also suffer from Severe sensitivity to the cold. This started just last year- my hands and feet began to turn blue in the cold. Now this past winter, it has been painfully cold for me to go outside- during its worst i lost feeling in my face on a short 100 feet walk- I live in New york- not antarctica.
Last night when i was with my guy, his skin felt a noticable ten degrees hotter than mine- but whenever i take my temperature its around normal or one degree below.
I also have frequent chest pains- not a stabbing pain but a deep aching or throbbing- i used to thing it was my chest bone pushing up against my heart but I don't think that's the case anymore.
Not sure what it is- but it's getting progressively worse.

Just an interesting thing to tell all of you out there who suffer from vaginal numbness. I lost feeling during intercourse when I was only 21. I was like that for 14 years and then I lost all my clitoral feeling as well. I am 46 now. My son was diagnosed with a genetic metabolic disorder last summer called carnitine deficiency. This can affect your muscles and your nerves. I am now trying to get testing for myself. I need insurance. This condition has been heartbreaking. Its made life sad, lonely, and scary. I used to feel so good during intercourse. It felt so good it made me cry. Now, I feel nothing but pressure. No pleasure. I believe lots of women may have carnitine defiency and not know it. To the one above: uhm, I think the point is that sensation is indeed lost in the lower part of the vagina where the woman normally should feel something. For people who always have cold hands and feet, hypothyroidism might be the issue. Even a blood test withing the normal range does not rule out hypothyroidism.

Ok so.. I'm only 15 years old. My first sexual encounter was right before my last birthday in may.. I had thought the reason for my numbness is because I had popped my cherry about a while BefOre because I didn't want to bleed all over my first you know? Then like when I did have my first.. Hi, some research improved that short skirts can make girls have a problem with their sexual parts. Now do not let your daughters dress short skirts without a good warm underwear. If you have this problem please do not let it go to other girls and ask them to wear pants (not tight) because the tight jeans can effect on the sexual part too. Warm casual is good.
