No kidding? Maybe that's my problem! I had to do exercises for my neck many years ago for neck pain due to a car wreck! And I've been having some neck pain lately too! Maybe I need to do them again!

Thanks!

Happens to me everytime I get sinusitis. I usually have to use the behind the counter "d" allergy meds to resolve it. Also my chiropractor does adjustments that immediately open my sinus passages and relieve the dizziness

I have had sinus probs for over a decade. Same you all, but I can usually breathe ok. Problem is I cannot WORK or FUNCTION at all, because of the dizziness and fatigue. My face actually started swelling over the cheek (sinus area) and I have bags under my eyes. (not really bad, but I never had them before) It is all related to my sinuses. I am now positive of that. For a long time I thought it was just allergies. I tried doing nothing and just pushing through it at first. Then, after a couple years started getting antibiotics here and there. In the past 7 years I have tried...Loratidine..(no help at all) Zyrtec...(no help at all and expensive) Then went to an ENT...he gave me Flonase, or something, I used it as directed for about 8 months (no help at all). I tried Nasocort, Allegra, Musonex, (not all at once. lol) Then, finallly as I have gotten worse and WORSE. To the point of, when I have this sinus thing (which is pretty much every other month of my life . I cannot function AT ALL. I HAVE TO lay down and sit down , and even then don't feel right. I feel dizzy ALL the time. My most recent RX was 10 days of Azythromcin . Which has worked in the past, but takes over 2 weeks to make me feel at about 75 percent of my normal self. (can't really remember what it feels like to feel normal) I went and got a CT scan and they said I have a deviated septum (pretty bad one) and an enlarged turbinate. Problem is......when you don't work, you don't usually have insurance. So here I sit with no job and no insurance and I need surgery to fix the deviated septum and enlarged turbinate. I feel like killing myself. I can't live this was any more.

I have been suffering with chronic sinusitis for over 12 years now.  I am either allergic or have side affects from antibiotics that make it very difficult for me to find one I can take to get rid of the sinus infection. Sometimes I am on an anitbiotic for 3 weeks to get rid of one for it to only come back within 6-8 weeks.  I was told by a CT scan I had that I have a module that i need to have surgically removed.  This is a problem for me since I have chronic COPD.  So surgery is very scary for me .  I had trouble breathing after my gall bladder surgery which was about 8 years ago and my COPD is worse now.  I also suffer from chronic vertigo and dizziness for the last 4 years.  I was diagnosed with Vestibular migraines. I ahve been to balance therapy which did not help.  Sometimes I feel like I have no gravity in my body which makes it very difficult to walk.  I am in bed a lot every day.  I do not work.  I can't.  I am on SSDI as of last November 2011 which I got approved.  This has made my life miserable.  I am not independant any longer but dependant.  That really sucks.  I have had many ear infections as well and or fluid in the inner ears.  I always have a ringing in the ears and I can feel them close up at times too.  Almost daily now.  I don't dare bend my head down because if i do I will almost pass out.  It makes me so dizzy I can't stand it.  At times during a day and everyday I either feel like I am moving when I am not or it feels like things around me like the room is moving when of course it is not.  Like I said as time marches on the vertigo gets worse.  I wish I wasn't afraid to have my nasal surgery but even more so now I am afraid of it making my vertigo worse.  I am not willing to take that chance and with my COPD worse now too i guess I am stuck with this  for life.  What a life I have now.  I pray to God to help me get through this or to find a cure for me.

I hope my prayers are answered soon.  Thanks for reading.

thank you so much... I thought the fluid in ears might be part of the problem... when I would put head in water I noticed I would have a miserible dizzy day. not knowing much of this affliction I wasnt positive. Doctors these days especially HMOs, it not easy getting total care... just bits and pieces.

Get a neti pot, and use it once daily or more while the problem exists, in the neti pot, put warm water, 1/4 teas. salt and 1/8 teas. of baking soda, mix and flush both sides of nasal cavities, do this daily and it will clear up, but since you seem to have the problem as do I, don't forget to do it daily just because your feeling better, as I did this and had attacks again, so just do it once daily EVERYDAY...hope you have good luck as I have.

You can buy nasal wash, but its cheaper making your own.

Hello, everyone! I’ll be short, because we (husband and I) really need to find a solution to this as soon as possible! The thing is that my husband is having continual problems with what looks like dizziness, and constantly complaining of some kind of pressure in his head. Also, and almost always along with that, he’s suffering full-blow vertigo! Then, when he went to doctor/hospital, they’ve put him on MRI, and – it was almost ok, except that they found Acute Sinusitis. However, he’s not having any real or obvious symptoms, he’s breathing is quite ok, smell also, and no musuc production in massive amounts. I really have doubts about MRI, and would like to hear you opinion. Also, since I’m pretty much convinced that antibiotics are of little use in treating Sinusitis, I would be glad to hear your experiences/suggestions on different treatments. Thanks a lot!

Dear Sir, Dt: 25 10 12 I am suffering from severe nose block from along time with even low breeze of a fan.ENT diagnosis is that it is PAN SINUSITIS after taking a CT SCAN OF PARA NASAL SINUSES.Apart from medication , I am advised to have regular steam for one month.Perhaps you may consult your physician and follow what he suggests to you. Wish you speedy recovery,
