It's a pimple, or sebaceous cyst - that's all. The pubic area (and arm pits) are prime areas for them to grow - hairs to get ingrown, moist, warm, covered up etc. Squeeze until blood comes out - that means the pus is all gone. If you still have a lump, and it's bruised that's just from the squeezing. It will go away.
No ingrown hairs usually appear because of shaving. Also they usually look different. It also probably is not good to squeeze more, since you might cause a more serious infection. The best would be to keep awareness and maybe take all possibilities into account. If it does get worse go see a doctor.
I'm having the exact same issue and looking for answers
I have the same thing.. I've been using hot compress and wash with alba acne wash.. keep the area dry..i hope mine goes away
My gynecologist told me never to use baby powder on it.. clogs the pores even more
Possibly a Boil ! that has to be drained with a syringe and the doctor filled it with Saline (Salt Water) and then drained that till it was empty. Did this twice in the matter of two months has not come back.. some time caused by an Ingrown Hair....Ingrown Hair sometimes get's many inches long all curled up...
I don't know what they are either but I get them I hate them and they are gross. I am a woman.
Sounds like a cyst. You can leave it alone or use witch hazel. You can get it at any drugstore :-) just apply it for a week or two and you will notice it go down
I have the same symptoms except im 14 and nver had sex before.
What about diabetes causes this? Ketones? What's actually happening that causes it on diabetes? On a molecular level?
It's just a pimple. Just wash it and apply some tea tree oil. It should go away within a week or two.
this might be molluscum contagiosum?
This is usually caused by a hormone imbalance. Especially if you get several of them. Most of the time you won't even notice until they are about to explode and you give it a little squeeze and pus (not puss) oozes out. Be careful when squeeezing as not to traumatized the tissue. Yes, you can leave it alone and wait until your body absorbs it but it may just pop on its own. Warm--not hot--compresses can help it come to a head if it is not ready but most of the time when you realize it's there, it's good to go. Squeeze gently to get the first out. There will be more. Don't put anything greasy like antibiotic ointment on it. Maybe a bandaid to protect your unders. Keep it clean and dry. Maybe some air medicine. It may take a few days to get all the pus out. Again, squeeze it gently. Otherwise, you'll have a big bruise and if you're light skinned, it will take forever to fade.
It's not an STD, it's not diabetes.
There is also a condition called hidradenitis that seems to be more common in black males but can happen to anyone. It is not on the public bome but in the groin, buttocks and armpits. It causes severe boils that do not produce pus and are very painful. Scarring is extensive. Surgical treatment is usually needed as these "tunnel"
Very deeply into the tissue and must be cleaned out.
These two are very different. But neither are STD's. Sometimes both can be treated with aldactone/spironolactone. Some
Physicians may use an antibiotic.
The pubic "boils" can occur with older women that develop breakouts on their chest, neck and chin due to hormonal changes. Aldactone works well to control these breakouts, too.

Thank you! The same thing happened to me just now and I got really distressed.
That's what I would say. I had it once, it will clear up on it's own. DON'T PICK YOU WILL SCAR
