Im 24 years old. When I was 19 I had a fling and ended up getting pregnant. I did have an abortion but did not follow up after the whole procedure. My husband and I are now ready to have a baby and I'm worried that I wont be able to conceive.

Have you had any indications that your body would not support a pregnancy? Have you discussed it and been honest with your husband about it? Pregnancy is SUCH A miracle. Do you know that scientifically, a woman has more of a chance at winning the lottery than getting pregnant? (So I've heard)? Be honest with your hubby, and keep praying and keep your head up

Conceiving again will most likely take some time. Maybe it wont. Also, when a woman is VERY VERY focused on getting pregnant, trust me it doesnt usually occur until she lets it go.
Sweetie, getting pregnant again is not going to replace the baby and the life that was taken.
I would seriously reconsider what is going on. Look beyond yourself.

well i had an abortion also. on 4/23/09. I did not want to, but at the time I felt like i had no choice. Im already a single mother of 3, and a 4th would have really been hard on me. I also went through feelings of guilt, sarrow, i was even deeply depressed for a while. i really wanted my child, but that by itself was selfish to me. i knew i couldnt support another child. I pray everyday and ask that unborn child, and GOD to please forgive me. So i can understand where these other women are coming from. Its so EASY to critize someone else for there actions, but you'll never know unless your in there shoes. It is a choice that i will NEVER EVER choose again. the emotion stress of that, i think is harded than it would have been to TRY and support that child. No its not right, but when your ALONE, what do you do?

To everyone that is talking badly about women that have had abortions, you have NO idea how we feel. I had an abortion about two months ago, basically against my will, and I would do absolutely ANYTHING to go back and change it. I wake up every morning wanting to die. It kills me to know what I have done. And I know there are some women that do not feel the way I do but it just kills me. So you have NO right to judge us until you have felt what it feels like to do it. Thank you.
