However, i would like to know what other immune boosters people use and how effective they are. I think it is always useful to have a variety to change between so that your body doesnt get reliant on any one thing.
thanks
Excellent question!
Some of my most favorite things that I use to boost my immune system are peppermint, green tea, ginger, lots and lots of garlic in basically everything I eat, turmeric, honey (especially Manuka honey which is used for wound healing as well), chamomile, and stinging nettles. Many of these things can be used in tea, of course, which is a great way to get as much goodness as you can. Try to incorporate ingredients that will give you an immune system boost every time you have a meal as well, though. Prevention is better than the cure, as they say, and that starts with good food.

Most people think just supplements can help. But honestly, if you have an acidic body pH (like most Americans), supplements won't be very effective because the body can't utilize them properly.
Hope it helps!

It is good that you have mentioned this. I've heard something too about this, but I don't have much info. Can you provide us with more information about this?
You have a lot of vitamins in fruits. Lemon is full of Vitamin C that will boost your immune system for sure. :-)
Great info\

As mentioned earlier, probiotics are now shown to be very important for natural immunity. As far as supplements are concerned I strongly looking into a product called "Cyto Ess". This is a supplement made from bovine infused colostrum and is the real deal. The active ingredient is Ai/E-10. Look it up. there are a few great sites that sell it, jigsaw health and healthy solutions 4 u. ;-)
