Gallblader Symptoms (Mine) 2008 it was removed
All started years before according to my surgeon with "heartburn" which is the first sign of the gallblader going bad. Taking something for heartburn only numbs your esophagus and stomach lineing but does nothing about the problem.
Feb - eating dinner, no pain or feeling sick, suddenly had to vomit . 2 wks later same thing happened. Was eating chicken both times thought I ate bad chicken. Threw up and felt fine.
March - thought I had food poisoning and blamed the lunch room at work, pain in the gut, swelling in the gut, upper and middle back, chest tight, pain in upper right side of torso, lots of vomiting.
April - August - about every 2 to 3 weeks I would get what I thought was food poisoning so I stopped eating from the lunch room at work. All the symptoms of March but over time began to last longer. Went from a few minutes to lasting about 6-8 hours. Pain was intense through out my torso, unable to get comfortable, only way to calm the pain was a heating pad but took hours for pain to subside.
September - finally went to Urgent Care. The head doctor told me I had a stomach virus that he'd seen a lot of it and gave me anti neasua meds and an antibiotic. It worked. 2 weeks later I was back for the same reason only this time I saw who is not my primary care physician. She began running tests, tests found my liver was beginning to fail.
October - end of October, took them forever to get me in for an ultra sound. In the mean time I'm having one continuous gallblader attack and have been in for 2 more blood tests showing liver is getting worse.
November - she said it's your gall bladder - referred to a specialist. At this point can't eat without vomiting.
December - finally get in to see the specialist/surgeon (a week before Christmas) who tells me I have a very sick gallblader and it has to come out. His office sends me to the wrong hospital for pre-op. Finally get to the right hospital the next day who schedules me for surgery 3 days before Christmas. Mind you I've had a continous attack now for 3 months with no relief, eating about 1/2 slice of bread and 1 cup of water a day (can't keep more then that down and dropped 25lbs in 1 month).
Surgery - My gallblader broke open right after they took it out of me, barely hit the pan before breaking open.
If you have these symptoms go to the doctor. If you don't need a referral to see a specialist go immediately. If you aren't sure who to see go to the emergency room. Time is critical, this organ can kill you.
Id love to know if your problems were because of gallbladder, as I have had much the same problems since pregnancy but I did have an umbilicus hernia. 14 years later I cannot digest anything without suffering or burping very loudly! I have had endocopies etc but they seem to show nothing, got another one due in 2 months time.
So please let me know if you did find that your reflux was due to gallbladder.. thanks.
I have been having weeks at a time or longer of throwing up in the past 10 years of my life. ( my girls called me The Queen of throwing up.) I have pain off and on , on my right side that sometimes really hurts and sometimes is a dull pain.
No doctors can decide wha to do. Oh not to mention 2 years of the worst pancretits fits and 40 days at a time in the hospital.
Also I have had 10 spinal surgeries in between. Some people blame the spine surgeries on cutting a nerve in the spinal colume sending a mixed signal to the pancras and causing me to have all my problems.
Iam I crazy or what? Any one with ideas? I could use some help.

I have the same problem!
I have the same problem!
I had my GB removed several years ago. Not long after, I started experiencing the same symptoms that lead to removal AGAIN. I went to the doc (luckily I happened to be in an excellent ER this time), and of course the first thing he asked was if I still had my GB. Since I did, they decided to give me an EKG and blood enzyme test. Both came back suspicious. I was then given a stress test and angiogram, and both came back suspicious. Finally, they discovered I had 80% blockage in the main artery of my HEART. They wouldn't even let me go home to prepare. They kept me, and the next day I had open-heart surgery. I had a single bypass. Since I have cancer and cannot take blood thinners, they couldn't put in a stent, so they used a part of a vein from behind my chest wall. I was in the hospital for 10 days! I thank God that I went to the ER that day and not my MD, as he would have probably sent me home with antiacids, and who knows how long it would be before I had a heart attack!!!...(and this hospital has one of the best cardio units of ANY hospital in my area.) Thank the Lord for his intervention! So be careful. If the GB is fine, have an EKG and blood enzymes test JUST IN CASE. You will rest easier knowing it's NOT the heart.
What can I do? Lately I have had bouts of diarrhea after eating fatty foods. I try to eat healthy as I have high cholestorol already, but its generally if I am at someone else house for dinner or am on my period. I get bad abdomen pain after, frequently feel like I have food stuck in my chest. Three days ago, I ate left over's from a family dinner, ham, turkey, bun, potato's, gravy and stuffing. An hour later diarrhea, then this awful pain from 3 inches below my belly button reaching just up past the start of my ribs and stretching across my ribs from one side to another. worst pain seemed right in the middle of the stomach. I had some back pain not sure if its realated, I usually have back pain, but not where it was at that time. So I dont know what to think about that. The pain was a 9 up their with the pain I had delivering my child. Ambulance came and paramedics pumped me full of morphine. They did a blood test and it was normal, urine which came back normal and a x ray and ultrasound both also normal. The pain now comes anytime I eat on the right side, my stomach in the middle is tender period and the back pain comes and goes. I also have a headache. I should mention I have not thrown up though after the morphine I was very nautious and it continued the day after I got the morphine as well. It still comes and goes. Though the pain is not as severe as it was sunday, it still hurts. Any ideas what this can be???
Hi, This is an old post, bu I thought I would share my experience. In case t it is confirmed that I have gall stones. I found out when I was 38 and I have managed to go symptom free since with diet changes. As for the symptoms: profuse sweating.. burping and unpleasant feeling upper stomach... then debilitating pain across the back between the shoulder blades.. you can get comfortable anywhere you can lie down you cant stand you can't sit. This continues anywhere from 1/2 hour to 3 hours... then you get a cold feeling in that same spot across the back... and you feel relief. Then it's like you never had a problem. The symptoms occur about 1.5 hours to 3 hours after eating. I cut the portion size of red meat to 1/4.. and limited how many times a week I ate meat. I lost weight. I increased my water intake. Severely limit fried foods.
Get him tested for gastroparesis.
