If you are not willing to remove them with clippers, you can use your toothbrush. I pour hydrogen peroxide over my brush and then clench down on my tongue with my teeth and hold those little suckers steady. Brush them vigorously for a few seconds and they will disappear. The peroxide will foam up and life is good.
I pull them off all the time and they don't bleed much or at all. They do feel better afterwards but, they may come right back if they were not "ready". So, I pull them off again until they are. I use a tweezer.
I was eating pumpkin seeds and this happened to me ! Then I remembered why I stopped, this always happens it might be the salt. I wanna rip them off = /
I latterly cut mine, it was so irritating and blood was all over my toung. is it a bad thing?
I have had one now for about 7 months and I have cut it off with nail clippers, came back. I have pulled it off with tweezers, came back. Pulled it off with finger nail, came back. One large white growth about 10ml, gets big and then pulls back to where you can hardly see it, then comes back with vengence. Any ideas?
Vitamin B - go get some and take it.

I've been trying to figure out why I have these and I couldn't think of anything I changed in my diet recently. Then I read your post, I bought cinnamon gum a few days ago and have been chewing it often! Thank you for solving my mystery! Hopefully they don't last long!
I also use fingernail clippers to snip them off. It hurts for a second and then you get relief immediately instead of waiting for them to go away. I then rinse my mouth with peroxide stright from the bottle. Problem solved. I have been doing this for years.
I have (what I believe to be) an inflamed taste bud slightly underneath the tip of my tongue. My guess is I went a little crazy on the candy corn this year. I've been looking up home remedies as this is extremely uncomfortable. So far, I've tried Anbesol for mouth sores, swooshing around Listerine (which burns like crazy at first, but then I have about 30 minutes of no pain). So far nothing that I've tried has worked. I'm a little leery about pulling them off as certain sites have told me to avoid that, did you have any issues after pulling yours off?
