Today, I found that the irritated skin had shriveled up becoming more leathery with Yellow/Brown spots on them measuring around 3 - 5 mm in size. I have done some research trying to find out what the problem is, I am in a very panicked state and have no way in which to get someone to check them.
I scraped one of the spots off, it did not reveal any puss as such instead it left a small crater where the spot was.
Please, someone give me an answer to this!
hey there,
its hard to say exactly what it is. are there any pictures you have seen that look similar? how old are you, are you sexually active and do you have any allergies?
I'm 18 years old and have recently broken up with my girlfriend (So haven't been active for a month or so now). I could find no images of the same sort of problem I am having. If I have any allergies I don't know about them yet, but I did use some clear skin moisturiser to try and settle the itchiness of it all, which seemed to have got it to this point.
I have stopped using that cream and have started washing and drying as often as I can to help clean the area and keep it dry as It could be bacterial or it could be fungle, it could be something i am not aware of too so I'm trying everything right now.
Its really hard to guess what it may be without a picture so if you could upload one it may prove to be really helpful... just make sure you put the caption....warning... graphic content......veiwer discression advised..... or something along thoes lines so that theos not wanting to view it willl be warned.
did you say that after you stopped using the clear skin moisturizer that your skin is getting better? what was the brand and type of moisturizer called.
have you ever been checked for any STD's and have you noticed any if these "scabs" on any other parts of your body (pubic area, inner thighs, stomach ect). finally was this girlfriends your first partner or have you had sex or sexual contact with others. if so how long ago was that?and has she had sex with anyone else. if so has she been tested for STD's?
Thanks
I hope you had a Great New Years as well
It was "Tesco's Clear Skin dual action moisturiser" which I found lying around, mainly used for my hands when they get a little dry. I used this product when it first started itching abnormally which seemed to have irritated it a bit and became as it is now. Since I have stopped it doesn't seem to be getting any worse and whilst keeping the area as dry as possible, it seems to be helping.
I havn't been checked for an STD no, But I have only had any sexual relations with one girl and she has only had sexual relations with me, which I hope ticks off the concern of an STD :-|.
I have never seen any of this type of skin problem anywhere else on my body, which is why I was in a panicked state when I first saw it. In terms of the Image, I will do my best to try find a similar skin problem. I would not be able to upload an image from myself as I don't have the equipment to take an image without it coming out extremely blurry.
Thanks again for your help :D
Your welcome.
Try looking up pictures of psoriasis or eczema and see if it resembles any of thoes.... it could just be dry irritated skin. u may also want to look up candidia or jock itch (tinea cruis)
Thanks
I have looked through many different images of skin irritations including the ones you recommended and could not find anything similar. If I was to guess what caused it, I would say it could have been that I have been quite lazy since the last few month of drying myself properly after showers and such. I read that doing that could cause problems like the ones I have been having.
I very much appreciate you helping me this this, as it was a very stressful and confusing time for me. There really arn't words to describe how thankful I am for this site and yourself

NOT COOL and i glad i could help you out. let me know how it goes and if it continues to get better or worse. not drying yourself thouroughly can lead to different skin conditions including fungal infections, bacterial infections or chaffed irritated skin just to name a few....
