Hello everybody, I am a 45 year old man and just recently went to see a doctor about some urination problems I have been having. Peeing about 15 times a day, starting and stopping, that sort of thing. The doctor noticed that I had two holes in the head of my penis too. He sent me to a urologist. The urologist said that it is pretty rare to have tow holes but is easily corrected. Not to say that it has to be corrected but if not can possibly cause other problems later in life such as urinary tract infections, of which I have had 2 times in my life. Now to the other people that said that urine comes out of one or both holes and that sperm comes out of the other, I asked my doctor that question. He said that is pretty much impossible and if that were the case there would be a lot of doctors that would like to talk to me and that they would probably be writing papers about me. So with that being said I had to look pretty close the next time I urinated. To my surprise the urine just came out of the bottom hole. Also the next time I had an orgasm we looked very closely and found the same thing. The sperm only came out of the bottom hole. So the top hole is a hole that doesn't go through all the way. Now that being said, I never had any reason to think that my penis was any different than others. It's not like in anatomy class they ever said, " Oh by the way boys you might want to check the head of your penis and make sure there is only one hole cause if there is 2 that is wrong". Also I have never gotten that close to another guys penis to see there was only one hole, that would have been a little weird. I am having a cystoscopy in two days and the urologist said that while they are there, if the dead hole isn't too deep they would cut the skin between the two holes to correct it.

There's more than one cause of this. One way is having two urethra tubes from the bladder thru the penis. Another is having one urethra and somewhere in between the bladder and the penis it branches into two. As I had to, you must go to the Dr. And they push a tube up your urethra to your bladder and fill your bladder with a liquid that the xray captures photos of as it exits your body. I have two from the bladder and both are fully functional.

no as you have noticed quite a few people have told you urine comes out of the top hole and semen comes out of the bottom hole and I agree with it because I too have the same condition.. it is not as simple as to say one whole is dead and one hole isn't one hole has stuff that comes out and the other doesn't because a lot of people have wrote on here including myself that each hole has something that comes out
