Hi, I'm curious, have you had any treatment or surgery to remove the adhesions/pain?

A couple hours after I woke up from my hysterectomy I was so upset and in tears because I still had lower right pelvic pain! The Dr. said that it wasn't unusual, my body was just used to having pain in that area and that it would go away. A couple of months later I was still in pain and she had me get a MRI. No surprise, nothing showed up. My surgery was 5 years ago and I struggle with the sharp, burning pain to this day.

I had numerous surgeries through my 20's and 30's to remove endometriosis. This pain is the same as the endometriosis pain...the reason for the hysterectomy.

I would love to know if anyone has found relief.

Hi, in my early 30's (now mid 50's) my endometriosis was so bad that the right ovary had to be removed. When I had my hysterectomy (early 50's) they removed everything. If it were me, I would have it removed...just personal opinion. I am so sick of this pain. I have not been back to the GYN for years, I just feel like she will have nothing helpful to offer.

I wish you the best, let us know what you decide to do.

I had a hysterectomy last year in Jan due to a tumor on the outside of my uterus I could feel a big ball on my csection cut. I was in excruciating pain especially during my time of the month. I was relieved when I was pain free....but only for a short time. I statred having pains again, this time a ovarian cyst on my left ovary, so back to hospitals, this time a different dr. The new dr told me that my scar tissues is so bad that she couldn't even see if I had a right ovary. Since then, constant pain & constipation. Went for my annual appointment & now my dr said it looks like my scar tissues are now sitting on my colon....

I appear to have similar issues as you. I still retain my ovaries which makes we wonder of the endometriosis has spread. Have you gotten any answers?

I had severe pain post total hysterectomy that sent me to the hospital for a week. They did a CT scan with contrast of my pelvis and found two abscesses. They guessed that I got an infection somehow during the vaginal hyst that caused it. It went away with antibiotics and pain killers. But now I'm having similar paid :(

Thank you. Have had this problem for 1 yr (post surgery) with bleeding during sex. MD just prescribed ointment to rebuild the lining but does no way take away the pain and fever.

I too have the same pain. Had a total hysterectomy a year ago. Endometrial cancer. For the past few months I've been experiencing horrific abdominal cramps real low like I'm gonna have a period. These cramps are so bad they bend me over double. I'm afraid the cancer is back.

Hi! I had a total hysterectomy and now on HRT for over a year now. I started having the same pain and more frequent urinary infection. I am awaiting to see a urogynaecologist at the end of the month. The doctor has referred me for a query bladder prolapse/incontinence. I am just worried because I was diagnose with ovarian cancer last year and having this pains arent very helpful.
I am always constipated maybe because of the HRT. But it is so painful everytime i open my bowel.
