Hi there Weight gain was not explained to me either or I never would have had this procedure. Your post was a whilr back, so wondered if you have had any good news since then. I was In a comfy spot and feel like my stomach is constantly sticking out and am up about 6# 3 months post op. I run 6 miles a day and count calories. I leave in 2 W for Florida and want to cancel. I have tried diets that worked in the past but not helping much

I hear you. I'm up about 6# 3 months post op. I run 6 miles every day and eat a balanced diet as I have always done to no avail. I'm trying things that used to help but getting no where. It's driving me crazy

I had the ablation performed in Jan 2016. I have gained over 25 lbs since then. It all seems to be in my stomach area. I exercise and eat well. I am losing my mind right now. I had my thyroid and sugar checked and they were fine. I had hormones checked and they were fine as well. My sex drive is almost nonexistent. My body is not the same as it was before the procedure.

I take Nora Be (Norethindrone is a form of progesterone) as a birth control and I am still taking it.

What can be done? I am seriously falling in to a depression over this and need to figure out what is happening.

I had the eblation in February 2017 and as of May 3 months later I have gained 15 pounds! My thighs are bigger and my stomach bulges out! I actively work out 3 days a week and I eat healthy, but the scale does not move. I am happy to no longer be bleeding, but not happy about the weight gain

I'm guessing this is common. I thought about some of the same possibilities others have said (thyroid issues) i had my procedure in 2013 and have gained 30 pounds since- nothing seems to help

Hi all, Ive had the ablation done in June this year 2017. It has been a absolute dream, until I have noticed I'm gaining weight quickly. I haven't changed what I eat or how I eat, I'm also rather active. It possibly don't sound much but I've put on 19lbs in 5 months and no matter what I do I can't shake it. I just want to go back to how I was as Im not happy with how I look, if anyone has any advice, please share, thanks. Nikki

I think i believe you. My period stopped when i was in my late 30s, my belly started growing and i couldn't get rid of it. I found out that my hormones were almost none, so i started hormone therapy pellets at 50, well my period started back, look like a crime scene every two weeks, but my stomach still didn't go down. So as of today 4/10/18 i had the ablation done, now i am scared because i already look 10 months pregnant i really don't need to gain anymore. I did the research about this and no there was no mention of weight gain, but when i got my discharge papers, it says to weigh myself every morning. I was like wow, maybe it is gonna help me lose weight, but reading what you ladies are saying, i think they want to see how much weight i will have gained for my two week check up!

Help!!! I am freaking out right now. I had the NovaSura procedure done in 2010 and I have gained about 60 pounds! It was nonstop weight gain for months...The weight packed on within the first year and I thought it was because I was stressed about moving and some life changes. I also went through hair loss, depression, and fatigue...I was 32 and felt horrible. I literally watched my body change and I no longer recognized myself....Fast forward to 8 years later and I'm still fat. I can't lose ANY weight and keep it off. The most I've lost is 15 lbs and I gained it right back and then some. I am active and feel like I am always dieting and counting calories. NOTHING works...and I've always wondered what is wrong with me and somehow I stumbled upon this and I feel like it has answered all my questions!!! So what can be done to fix this? HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!
