I just want to share my experience. Im 30 years old female, no pregnancy, no babies. I literally stopped eating due to stress and pain, knowing how much it hurts. i had it from constipation and straining too much. It got worse really bad within one month. Mine was prolapsing, almost like a size of a grape. It felt like its all swollen inside, it was burning, itching, the pain felt like cut skin. Anyways, i had my first banding done 2 month ago (Sept 13,2016). From the moment he inserted anoscope, it was a torture. It took less then 5 min to band 2 large hemmys. Because they lower, close to anus, hurt like hell. But i was told the pain is expected and ok to take aleve (no narco or anything else which makes u more constipated), do sitz bath and rest. I left the doctors office, i drove home, got out of my car then felt dizzy, my vision got blurred. i decided to sit down, the next thing i remember waking up on the ground. I fainted. I realized i didn't eat and plus i had to do enema, which lowered my blood pressure. I wasn't able to sit down, lay down or walk properly. i had to take 2 days off from work and weekend. The pain was excruciating (during and after BM, passing gas) on day 4 or 5 it was like day 1. I called my doctor on monday, bc i had to wait sat sun. After banding i had my first BM on day 3, I take stool softners and citrucel, which helps alot. However, i still had the prolapsing in the same size and i thought it wasnt working at all. So i went back to office for check up, on day 7, he said 2 bands already had fallen off, then it start bleeding. I had my 2nd banding after 1 mo. It was painless, compared to the first one., i felt only pinching. Doctor said he banded 2 upper ones. I was really traumatized by the first one. After 3 weeks i had my 3rd banding, today, (Nov 10). This was lil bit painful but bearable. Over all, after 2nd banding i feel much better. I no longer have this horrible pain. I still take citrucel, helps alot, no constipation, not bloated. Each session had banding of 2 hemmys, so total of 6. I Have this feeling of fullness down there but i have BM once a day( which is my regular) I regret not Having rubber banding it in early stage.
I don't wish anyone that pain that i went trhu. i believe it was the worst pain in my life.

I really feel what you are going this. Mine was the same as well. How is your own now? Has it gotten better now?
Just had banding done about four days ago. Dr. Said he ligated "several hemorrhoids," however many that is. Prior to banding my hemorrhoid thrombosed after most bowl movements. It is now throbbing and very painful. I am contacting Dr tomorrow. Any other advice? ( I utilize sitz baths and ice packs frequently)
I have identical complaints after 11 days.
Hurts like a son of a B, imagine kikced in the balls feeling that lasts for days
Hello I had the banding a week ago on Wednesday I have the constant urge to pee but it won't come out any advice
Never get this surgery done!!! I had 3 done yesterday and I am in absolute agony. I've had 2 hours sleep cannot get comfortable lying down, sitting or standing. The only short bit of relief I have is if I sit on the toilet (not doing anything as I haven't had a bm since) is that normal?? I've taken so many pain killers but nothing is taking the pain away,I feel like I'm loosing my mind. Anybody got any tips for some relief they would be greatly appreciated? Thanks
The procedure was very painful for me. Make sure you bring your pain killers for after the procedure.. It was all worth it...
I had the procedure done at about 9:45 this morning.. 10 mins after the procedure I passed out in the Dr. Office. I woke up to medical response around me I was taken to the ER where the pain begin to be overwhelming I was 1st given Tylenol by I.V along with nausea meds the pain did not go away so they then provided me with Norco I was released from E.R around 2:30 pm upon getting home I felt faint again and also nauseated and pain and discomfort level is high. I was placed on an clear liquid diet and taken off work for 3 days. Prior to the procedure the surgeon told me no pain I would only feel full in the rectum area and I could go right to work B.S I feel horrible and talking Norco every 4hrs on a liquid diet
Oh boy, what a terrible experience. I'm on day 20 and this has been the worst 3 weeks of my life. I had 3 internal hemorrhoids banded which I really wasn't given too much information about beforehand because the doctor I went to was more concerned about small talk than telling me about the procedure he also looked like weird al yankovic so I should've ran in the first place. I was in so much pain when I woke up from the procedure that I couldn't think straight. Not to mention the doctor had gotten in trouble for writing prescriptions and wasn't even able to write me one for pain meds so thank God I have a doctor in the family to write me one. I'm heading back to a really great specialist in two days for the 2nd time which I have a feeling he will want to do another sigmoidoscopy to see what's going on. I'm a 30 year old man and have been violated more than I care to admit in the last 3 weeks.
I told my wife that I may start growing fins and scales because I've had to take 3-4 hot baths a day along with 3-4 lortabs everyday since. Some days are better and I start to think it's going away and then the next day will be as bad as the first. The hot baths really do help and painkillers have been a must in my case.
I'm fine when I wake up but the pain comes after BM. It's like clockwork, BM and 15-20 minutes later excruciating pain and I have to take two painkillers and soak for a half hour and hope it keeps the pain at bay. And if you take painkillers... STOOL SOFTENERS!
My advice is to do your research and make sure you have a really good specialist that has done it before and knows good and well where your pain sensors are because it's been a real PAIN IN THE ASS!
