Get Zofran prescribed to you- It will stop the nausea within an hour but you will still feel like sh*t.Its like choosing the lesser of two evils. it also usually causes headaches but I would choose a headache over non stop nausea any day.
I’ve been recently experiencing the same thing you just described. Sometimes after just a few beers. Time to cut it out of my diet.
You guys, it sounds an AWFUL lot like acute pancreatitis. Some of you might notice hiccups, too, yellow froth/slime, and eventually brown bile will be pushed up into the stomach which your body WILL reject, violently and systematically. You will feel abdominal pain or pressure, maybe a bit bloated, feverish, and you'll sweat intermittently. Mine gives me panic attacks because I can't hold down the medication I am on (Venlafaxine, an SSRI). This medication also seriously decreases the body's ability to process alcohol, but any amount, large or small, can be the culprit where acute pancreatitis is concerned. Your stomach will literally SHUT OFF and refuse to absorb much of anything (don't stop sipping water though) until the gunk is out, or inflammation recedes. If you are throwing up so consistently that you are too exhausted/in pain to hydrate yourself, or if you have difficulty breathing, call a hospital IMMEDIATELY. In fact, call them anyway. Better safe than sorry.
You might have an auto immune disease ! I do and am starting to experience this after 26. Never had a problem before.
One of the best post about this I've seen. I too have the same problem and it's been getting worse. A friend of mine who also drinks on a daily basis vodka like me. Told me he was having the same symptoms, and one morning he woke up and severe horrible pain in his stomach that wraps around to his back. He said he felt like he had done the thousands of sit-ups. And his muscles were sore and hurting in his stomach from doing so many sit-ups and then his back he said it was like on fire and so painful he couldn't even sit down. He went to the hospital and it turned out to be pancreatitis. Which was a direct result of his drinking too much. I haven't gone to the hospital yet, I'm hard-headed and will probably have to go through the same pain or something like you did. But I wanted to put it out there that that's what happened to him and I'm having the same signs and symptoms he did before it happened. I will keep you posted, but like the person said in the post I just commented on originally. There's obviously something wrong with pancreas, liver, gallbladder, something. We all know that this didn't happen before I drinking...
Haha ... I'm not an alchoalic... I drink maybe 2 a week or less.. I've been having the bile issue lately too. But I have gas issues in my intestine... have all my life. Recently my stomach has had reactions to other things as well. I think it's deeper than just your an alchoalic.... some people may be but this thread I'm not so sure of. See a doctor that's my advise.
Thats a quick judgement And your wrong. I do not drink allot....hardly ever in fact. Drank half a beer to relax at a bbq and wake up the next day to bile in my mouth and a severe headache that last more like 3 days. Alcohol is definately not a necessity in my life and I could live without it but would be nice to have that drink from time to time. Point is stop calling people alcoholics for this issue cause thats pure judgement and this ulis a medical problem. I dont think theres a fix to it unfortunately. Ive had my gallbladder out and think my liver does not know how to produce and release bile for alcohol. Crappy but oh well.
