i'd say since 13-14? not really sure but it was recent

If it's been that recent I wouldn't worry about it right now. See what you've got in about another year or so. Think you're just a little late developing and could be one of the one's that develope slower. Right now there is no cause for concern.

Hi dear Stevenavatar, In my opinion you have reached puberty therefore you are a developed boy, however the size of your penis is too small for your age (17), it could be a micro penis case or an hormonal low level. To have a right diagnosis it is necessary to make you a medical exam, I would like to talk to you and ask you some additional questions about your particular case to have a most precise idea. Thanks.

Well, didn't realize that reaching puberty meant someone was fully developed. New to me. Thought it took YEARS to get through puberty. Shows how wrong I was.

BTW, a 2 inch erect penis is not unusual for someone in the early stages of puberty.

Yes ofcourse but 17 years old isn´t early stages of puberty, stages 1 and 2 occur at 11, 12, 13 and 14 years old.

Guess I lost my cool. It's understandable how the mistake was made. So, do we agree that he's probably just late getting started and he'll probaly be ok in a year or so?

Yes It's probably.

I would also agree with you if he doesn't see changes by 17 that he should get checked. Sound fair?

Yes ofcourse my friend.

That gives him 14 months. I don't expect him to be fully developed by then, but I would expect to see some lenght to his penis and some growth in his testicals. I'm sure it's difficult for him getting such a late start, but it's not unheard of.
