Hey, I want to share a simple and eficient healing treatment for very painful anal fisures and bleeding hemoroids, even chronic anal fisures with blood and prurit coming from inside the anus. Many people will go through unnecessary pain, sleepless nights and spend thousands of dollars in surgeries and all kind of treatments with very little results. The only think really eficient against anal fissures, hemoroids and anal prurit is a saline solution prepared from 2 or 3 teaspoons of table salt and 2 or 3 teaspoons of baking soda disolved in a quart of boiling water. This solution can be warmed up at the body temperature and poured in an regular enema bottle and emptied inside the anus, the body reaction will be to eliminate this solution but during this process the saline solution will also touch and clean the affected area which is imposible to pinpoint otherwise, will be a little bit of discomfort first but the healing process will start very rapid, repeat the tratment any time when you need to eliminate the stool for few days.  Also for few days try to eat every day one or two apples or oranges, drink one or two quarts of water or soups and not to much solid food to keep the stool soft.  The same warmed solution can be used to wash around the anus to keep that area clean, the body needs just a little bit of help to start the natural healing process. This method will work for the majority of people, and I hope this simple and inexpensive treatment will help many people to heal their problems in that area.

The saline solution treatment from one quart boiling water and 2-3 teaspoon of salt and 2-3 teaspoon of baking soda  delivered inside the colon with enema bottle is enough to start healing for majority of people but for stubborn chronic anal fissures, after using the saline solution you can fill another enema bottle with betadine solution (1% iodine solution), and deliver a little bit of solution inside the affected area, also you can use proctofoam HC ( RX only) and take daily supplements of vitamin A 10,000 IU , vitamin B-complex 100mg, vitamin C 500 mg and Zinc 30 mg until the affected area starts to heal.

The medication will work better if the area is cleaned with saline solution first.

Someone mentioned stress affecting the healing process... I couldn't agree more. Just reading this tread has brought me some relied with my persistent fissures. (im not holding back any details, i want to be healed so badly)  Mine began with strep throat as well. I was prescribed Zithromax on 10/9/12, with amoxicillin being the first choice for antibiotic, but I'm allergic. Starting 10/12/12 (day 3 put of 5 for antibiotic) I pretty bad itching in my anus. The next day it was even worse. ExcruciatingLy itchy, and if I were to scratch whatsoever it was like putting gas on a fire. If I ignore It long enough it would go away (~5-20 mins). I also noticed that if I were to go to the bathroom and simply blot, not whipe with toilet paper there would be a small amount of clay colored "discharge." This would be the case throughout the day. I think this was the start of my fissures. I think this discharge was so irritating that normal stools caused the tears.

The itching was persistent throughout the rest of October, and on 11/3/12 I saw blood just as you have described. There would be a decent amount, and its not like the pain get now, but I haven't gotten any better. I clean myself as best as I can after every BM often even showering. I do warm bath soaks, I just started adding Epsom salt. I take three colace every night but that's not always enough for a soft stool, and if I end up with a harder one the pain is so bad I have put a towel in my mouth to bite on something while the bm passed. There has been points of no blood and points where the entire bowl is red. I use lidocaine before every bm which helps with pain and if anything helps lube the poo out.

I'm a 20 year old male in school, I eat generally healthY with whole grains, a good veggie intake and a decent amount of fruit. It can be hard to eat super well at school. I saw my doc at the beginning of the bleeding and he gave me that lidocaine and suggested the colace, bath soaks and wet whipes. I do my best to have 8 glass of water a day, maybe I need to go more and be very dillegent about it. I am going to see my doc again because I should be healing, and I'm not, and the pain is ungodly

Although it may sound silly, pooping was honestly one of the most relaxing parts of my day, now just the association of my bathroom with such painful movements, I hate going into the room. Although I want to avoid surgery I would honestly do anything to be normal again.

Me toooo, I am 36 year old man. healthy life style and nothing to ever consider I might end up this horrific pain. I am a university student used to study for long hours in school. Few years ago It started as itching pain in my lower rectum then it started to bleed profusely after having a hard stool bowl movement.

I tried medications: Nitro, Ditltazem and whole list of useless c**p, wish someone can help me finding a better way to deal with this  pain, I cant take botox without anesthesia.

Hi everyone,

I've also suffered from anal fissure and I think that I've finally found a good solution.

Only eat fruits, Olive oil and Tahini (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tahini). I've been eating Apples, PersimmonsTomatoes, Cucumbers, Tahini and Olive oil for a week now and there is no more pain and the Fissure is finally healing.

Forget all about fibers and what you read about it. Beans are good source of fiber but that's not what you need. Avoid beans, all kinds of whole wheat, brown rice, all gassy foods and meat.

Prepare a Tahini salad by simply mixing Tahini with lemon, water and a table spoon of olive oil until you get a slightly thick mix then add it to your Tomatoes, Cucumber and Parsley salad as a dressing.

Something like this but without the onions:

Eat fruits and Tahini for a week then come here again to thank me.

Get well soon.

Dear Moderatore,

I've read the terms before posting and that wasn't an affiliate URL you've deleted but rather a random website that contains a picture and the way of preparing that salad.

I wouldn't bother with using my google account and real name if I wanted to spam this board!

Sorry for the off topic folks but I couldn't find another way to reply to the moderator's comment.

unless you wouldnt soft your stool, your problem will continue, use natural laxitative like prunes, figs, grape, cucamber, linseed and put all this to some amount on your diet otherwise you will face a big problem, seriously

I am in the same boat as you. I've had mine for three years and I've tried mineral oil, stool softeners, benefiber, EVERYTHING! Mine still has yet to heal and it is extremely painful. One that has helped (even though you said it didn't work for you), try taking a warm bath right after you pass a painful stool. That seems to help me short-term.

I too have had anal fissures. It feels as if you're pushing glass fragments out, every time you go to the bathroom! And when they're really bad, you feel them bust back open (like dry cracked lips do when we smile too big!) I fought with mine for months and months. Then logic set in...What helps heal our skin if we're cut? What do fighters put on their skin, so it won't tear? What can we put on our skin for a waterproof barrier, so moisture doesn't irritate it? What do doctors/nurses put onto thermometers, scopes, etc before inserting them into a rectum? Petroleum jelly! I chose to use triple antibiotic ointment, so it could heal my fissures. When I felt the urge to go, I'd put a pea-marble sized amount of ointment on my finger and insert as much as Icould into my anus. Then I'd smear the rest around the outside. Making sure to cover all areas. After I done my business, I'd wipe with toilet paper and then wet wipes, followed by a quick dry with toilet paper. Then I would, once again apply the ointment on the outside and about an inch into the anus. I did this daily. By day 3, the tearing feeling was cut in half! By day 5, it was gone! The antibiotic ointment helps your skin to heal. The petroleum base of it protects the skin from tearing, by lubing it up so the poop vacates itself easier. And also helps it to stretch easier w/o ripping. It creates a barrier between our feces and the open wound, so less bacteria is able to get in thus promoting it to heal. Plus if it is leaky, it will help defend against it chapping. Every once in a while I still get them. But now that I know what I can do, I don't find myself grabbing at the wall and almost tearing the TP holder down! My first one happened in 2010 and lasted 3 months before I started the ointment. I had similar symptoms again at the beginning of 2012, used the ointment and was fine the next day. Today, after 700 miles of traveling, I have strained too much, and I feel as if it may be trying to happen again. So, medicine cabinet...here I come! LOL I really do hope this helps somebody!

i have had a fissure the size of a quarter, first thing i did, was get a juicer, and drink, a mixture of spinach, grapefruit, carrots, avacado, /// avacado, great stool softner, and an apple, i have the nutri bullet, drink a glass every day. next, no toilet paper, get yourself, some bounty paper towels, cut in half, boil two cups of water 1 teaspoon of baby oil and 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo, now that you wil pour onto the paper towels, ...that is how i made my own wipes...you can go on the internet and look up making your own baby wipes, great on the butt. next, Neosporin plus pain. put some on you a-hole and some inside, then buy yourself some baby diaper rash ointment with 40% zinc oxide, put that on your wound. keep your wound clean. clean, clean. ok, now after passing your stool, you have to make a soultion of 4 cups of boiled water, with a mix of 3 tablsp. of table salt and 3 tabl. of baking soda mix that and put it in an enama bottle, after passing your stool, you clean that area with that saline solution...I have the greatest relief doing this. it has been a week, and almost healed. i hope i didnt forget anything...but this works. drink your veg. juice everyday///// my doctors gave up on me. but this site, has so much information these people have put me on the path of my healing. good luck...sera i hoe i didnt forget anything...

I cannot believe fissures can last for YEARS! I've had one for about 2 months now and that's an outrageous amount of time in my opinion. Today after a very hard BM, even sitting on the toilet to go #1 makes my anus bleed :(. I fear having a BM, because of the pain and the blood. I haven't taken any stool softeners or fiber yet, but after today, I will definitely try these options. I couldn't deal with this for 2 years!! On a lighter note..Swift anus healing to all, and to all a good night! :)

Hi there. I am 21 yrs old , suffering from anal fissure for more than 6 months, I had Botox injection and tried to eat healthy diet and apply ointment but nothing works, then I just remember Hydrogen peroxide , I used an injection tube to suck in the liquid and sit on the toilet seat and inject it in straight into my anal , it feel like burning and tingling a little and sizzling of bubbles , well that how it kills the germs, then u would feel like passing stool but it fine just re- do it second time, it cleans the fissure so well that instantly the pain reduced, then i dry the area and apply with ointment again Here is my diet to avoid constipation : Cereal, vegetables, fruits, water , I do take lactulose liquid after eating meat or things that hard to digest Good luck n give hydrogen peroxide a try coz u don't want to leave the fissure unheal for so long it will develope skin tags around yr anus and you would feel embarrassed about it.

Hi everyone,

I have been suffering from anal fissures from 2006 till now. Now it is worst. Every time it heals a bit (over 3 days), it cracks up again and start all over. This is what i found. My fissures are appearing because of hard stools and i empty at least 2 a day. I found that if I dont solve the hard stools problem, the fissure problem is never going to go away even if I get a super surgery. It may come back to haunt you again and again.

I am now doing the following:

(1) Eat lots of veggies

(2) Drink lots of water

(3) Eat lots of fruits.

I am also taking lactoluse for stool softening. I realised none of this helped because the main problem was hard stools. That means i have to change my diet to a completely soft diet. I am 62 years old. Some of friends who has experienced this before all say the same thing "its here to stay once you get hit by it at least once" Worst still, healing is much slower when you are past 50. So now i combine all this with Liquid Paraffin to lubricate the stools when the leave the anus. Only problem, your anus leaks with this liquid paraffin.

I considered surgery and later found that it could be useless as long I continue to pass hard stools. Even after surgery, if I have hard stools, will the fissure return or the surgery actually puts an end to it even under hard stools situation? Please help me here. Thank you folks.

Hello Everyone! I am a 19 year old female who had a chronic fissure for over a year and a chronic hemorrhoid for over 5 years. I just had a hemorrhoidectomy, a sphincterotomy and a fissurectomy done 12 days ago. The hemorrhoidectomy removes the hemorrhoid by scalpel, the sphincterotomy enlarges the sphincter to promote healing and the fissurectomy patches up scar tissue and the chronic fissure. The hemorrhoid was always an issue for me since a young age but the fissure became a problem during my first year of university. Stress plays a huge role! I would never recommend surgery for anything as I am a holistic gal all the way. However, my fissure became chronic and no matter what I did (diet, creams, stool softeners etc.) nothing worked to heal the tear. The surgery that I had done is a horrible recovery. Bowel movements are extremely painful and its difficult for the first week or so. After 12 days I am doing fantastic! I no longer take the pain medication and BM’s are tolerable. Most importantly, they are much less painful than they were when I had the hemorrhoid and the fissure. It is a good idea to have this surgery done at a young age as my healing has been so quick. If surgery is the only option for you all, I wish you the best of luck!
