I had my chalazion for almost an year and it did affect my vision, after surgery my sight did not correct itself. Before my chalazion I did not need glasses, but of course I now have a prescription for glasses. Thanks chalazion lol.
My daughter had one removed at three and now one has come at 7. The operation is so quick. They are out in a jiffy. They are cranky when they wake up from anesthesia but the process is quick. I was still very nervous and will be again

I have had 2 chalazions surgically removed. First one was a breeze didnt even feel the needles. Second same as first but opposite eye. O m g she killed me hurt so much and had black eye for 2 weeks. Neither one was very big.
Did they knock her out? They only froze mine.
How long did you have this chalazion?? Mines a hardened pea sized lump on the lower inner corner of my eyelid that I've had for about 4 months now. Did yours drain internally? And what brand sunflower lecithin?
I had an upper inside the eyelid chalazion and a red bottom eyelid chlazion on the inner side of eyelid. Found them in June 2022, got the surgery End of July 2022 but still seemed like I had scar tissue
December 2022 the chalazion inside my eyelid started to swell again so I got the steroid injection. Eye lid looked okay but notice a bump there still and like a vein that looks more peaked out. Is this okay ??
