I am a woman with one of those clamshell looking lady bits, it's all completely closed in, and even with my thighs spread open, the edges of my labia majora are touching and you "just" barely get a glimpse of the inside, which is a small clitoris, a small clitoris hood, and labia minora that extend about a third of the way down before attaching to the surrounding skin, and stick out no more than half a centimeter (that's a quarter of an inch for you Americans :) ) It's all very symmetrical and nothing that stands out from the rest. I never realized (dum-dum me) that not all women look like I do, until a friend and I were changing in front of each other some ten years ago. Yes, I did a double take, yes it was different from mine, and yes a lightbulb moment of all penises look different, why wouldn't vaginas and vulvas, and NO not once did I think anything negative of her larger protruding labia minora. It was just different, that's all. Besides occasionally wondering about what men prefer, I'd say I have no issues with my small ALMOST non-existent labia minora. I've always worried more about I'm thought of as a person than any one single body part of mine. I'd say, relax, enjoy your sex life, and besides... your partner should care about and love YOU, not your body part. That's like saying "she's great I'd date her but her elbows are a deal breaker" What? No. Silly.
I'm a guy, and cannot maintain arousal when there is 'missing' labia minora. It's as if the normal desire does not trigger without that visual signal.
I don't want to be crass, but it sounds like you have an absolutely BEAUTIFUL vulva. My wife is the same way--no labia minora, puffy majoras, and I find it to be the most perfect vulva I've ever laid eyes on. I spend so much time just staring at it. You're lucky!

The only problem that causes is me not being able to find a nice sensitive spot to play with. Licking the area where her clit is supposed to be produces very satisfactory results but single finger playing or rubbing is out. I have to flat rub the area with several fingers but it works. Of course the split finger technique is unaffected and still works as it should.
So basically the missing outward clit and inner lips only affect my gratification as I would like to have a nice clit to play with.
