born without labia minora

I agree with the guest comment on 7/5. Women have so much insecurity about their body shape - so much that it is crippling for many women. Every woman I have ever been with had a unique and different shape, ranging from no labia minora to large labia minora. Each woman has been SO beautiful and responded so wonderfully to my touch.

Women, I hope you all embrace and totally love your labia no matter what they are shaped like!!!!! Look at them, play with them, let your partner do the same when you are comfortable - enjoy yourself and celebrate yourself. You are a sacred creation! Love the beautiful gift that is your body.

Like many of the respondents on this thread, I do not have a labia minora.  However, my outer labia is not swollen or enlarged.   I have been married since I was 21, and am 37 now.  My husband has no problem with how it looks.  He has even called my 'sex' cute a time or two.  I have no problem with sex or achieving orgasm.  When I asked my doctor about it he simply said some women don't have one.

I had abnormal periods from the age of 9 through my mid 30s. Then, in early 2011, everything suddenly corrected itself and now I have a period every 32 days like clockwork; they last 3-5 days.  I didn't do anything differently. I didn't change my diet, change my lifestyle or were on any medicines. 

I started my cycle at 9. I reached my current height of  5'8" by the age of 10.  Other than having gained a few pounds, I look exactly the same as I did when I was 10.  It is creepy honestly.  People from 5th grade I could not identify in a line up see me and know exactly who I am.  Good, clean living maybe?

I cannot concieve a child.  We have tried everything with multiple doctors and nothing has worked; so we are looking to adopt in a few years.  My husband can and has had children within another relationship so I spoil my stepson rotten.

I am thinking some kind of hormone imbalance has to do with the lack of inner labia and my other issues.

 

I was born without one also, though, honestly, it runs in our family. I thought the way "Ours" looked was normal. Only two women in our family have Inner Labia's. Funny how we got to talking about it, when they were born, their mothers thought something was wrong with them! Even my own daughter doesn't have one. I never had issues with it, and didn't really start to notice until I got pierced down there, and the artist pointed it out. The only issue I have found is, because the outer lips are so thick, it tends to cause UTI's and build up of bacteria, only cause the urethra is set so far back.  so we learned early to just clean really good, and I think....its cute myself lol.

I don't have inner labia's, and I noticed my infant daughter has them, i thought someone might have molested her at first... My sister in law and I were talking about how we both thought my daughter's privates looked different... turns out I thought her having inner labia was weird, and my SIL thought that her inner labia not hanging out was weird...
Apparently hubby's side of the family have large inner labia, and my mother and I have none, so hers is just the mixture.
I always thought in porn and stuff the inner labia was the girl being "loose" obviously now I know that's wrong... Silly how differently the same parts can look.

Hey there. I am a 19 y/o female (soon to be 20!) and I also have no labia minora. I actually came across this post as I was searching to see if it was normal. My boyfriend says he prefers the smaller - no labia minora. I find it strange since all photos and diagrams I have ever seen have always shown a labia minora. I think it's safe to say since so many people on this post have admitted to not having one or a very small almost invisible one that it is completely normal! Best of luck girls. My wife has no labia minora, i have to say that i thank god every day for that fact, all that raggy skin popping out does nothing for me, my wife has a perfect vagina, just 2 lips and 1 line, stunning.

If a guy's opinion is acceptable, my wife of forty years had two beautiful large skin-colored major labia but no minor labia when we first met. After years of oral sex and manual stimulation (which we both loved) she developed very small, very sensitive minor labia. Whether or not to have labia reduction surgery is a very personal decision and should only be made as a very informed decision.   I've been with women that have had very large and very small labia minora and sex was great with all of them.  My wife has large labia and they do get in the way sometimes, covering the entrance and making starting sex a little awkward... but just starting.  Once we get going, there're no issues.    But would I ask her to have the surgery?... no.  Not with the risks involved.  I knew that there were some risks of reduced sexual feeling in some women and others I've read say their sex life is better because they are so much less self-conscious.  I hadn't heard of the serious cases that I've read here.  It would have to be her decision.  I love her just the same and she doesn't need to do it for me.  A woman should not feel she has to alter her body for anyone.

I was with 8 guys before marriage, & have now been married several yrs. I never realized I had no labia minora until looking at photos of labia reduction surgery, & realized the women having surgery were trying to look more like me. No man ever said anything bad about my vagina. Comments I heard were "small & cute", & I accepted the compliments without question. So, I really think you are right about how guys think of women's vaginas, & that's a good thing.

I am very surprised that all the comments are about look, but nobody mentioned any problem with pain. You have pain, because of scarring, but my wife was born without labia minora and this is causing lot of problems. First of all the clitoriar hood normally connected to labia minora in case of its lack, does not retract well causing skin tear and pain. Secondly after menopause, hormonal changes are causing hair grow inside vulva, causing constant irritation.
Does anyone experienced these problems as well, and what the solutions could be?

My wife has no labia minora. It makes no difference in my love for her, but I think larrge to very large labia would be a 1000 percent improvemenet. How nice it would be to have more bits to play with!

My wife has no inner labia and no visible clit. She can certainly have mind blowing orgasms but it would be nice for me to have a clit to play with.
