Kl130183, that is severe stress, stress can cause physical pain, and all these symptoms, you can actually die from too much stress. I was diagnosed and told that, and mindfulness meditation really helps with it, so you could try it too. Try different relaxation methods, when your body is under stress (even emotional) it causes rapid heart beats and chest pains.

Look up the condition GERD and it's connection with the vagus nerve. Excess gas formed by either eating the wrong type of food or eating too quickly travels up inside the body putting pressure on your organs. This creates the pain but also upsets the vagus nerve which connects with just about every part of your body, this can cause the triggering of parts of your nervous system which can create the tingling and numbness in your body as well as the symptoms discussed on other threads. Peppermint Oil capsules are helpful for preventing this, Andrew's Liver Salts is a Godsend if the process has already begun.

If concerned always check with your doctor, however if you've had an EKG whilst suffering from an attack and they tell you it's not your heart it's time to start looking for another possibility. Good Luck

Wow everything you posted describes me. I told my husband yesterday I feel like I’ve had a heart attack everyday for the last 3 days. I think i get indigestion then my heart flutters then i panic and anxiety takes over then my stomach gets worse and my other symptoms increase till I’m in full panic thinking I’m dying! Glad to see so many others like me, makes me more at ease now!

Same here, I have akk the same symptoms u guys are talking about. Weird Random chest pains/tingling arms, back, neck. Face feels numb sometimes, lightheaded, dizzy, nauseous, hypertension. Actually earlier this year I had an Atrial Fibrillation episode. I had to wear a heart monitor patch for 2 weeks and it records every single heart beat. I was on blood thinners to reduce the chance of stroke. Long story short, everything came back....u guessed it...normal. I'm on prozac for anxiety, 2 blood pressure meds, daily 81mg aspirin, and sometimes muscle relaxers. I too am beginning to start to believe that it is GERD and Acid reflux. I was eating super spicy food almost daily. ive cut back on dairy, spicy food, and meat and have lost over 60 lbs recently and startin to feel a little better. No definitive answer, but I do believe our hearts ok and we need to change what we eat to more plant strong. If anyone gets a definitive diagnosis, PLEASE SHARE!!!

Hello GERD folks
I have had these problems what you guys having since 10 years .I had a dueodenal ulcer when I was 12 years when I was discovered with ulcer in my deuodenum while living in a dorm where the food was contimaniated all time .The doctor put me on triple therapy for ulcer for 12 months and later it got healed but still I get frequent acid reflux since then .After 10 years I have experienced with symptoms of chronic GERD and now its worst now. I felt same symptoms like you guys numbness and tingling , muscle spasms ,panic attack while asleep it goes away when I wakes up suddenly I even scared people around me for shouting in such situations due to numbness and crawling pins and needles in my fingures and some times on legs. This is due to GERD and may be due to vitamin b12 or b6 deficiency I reduced chocklates, soar drinks, sodas, coffee, milk also sometimes alcohol, mint ,sugars , spices etc. and its helping little better .I am assuming based on my experience that when acid gets back to your esophagus the muscle contracts or twitches when you lie down and imagine soaking muscle in acid how you feel so this may put tension on the back of spine connected to all the organs and may be the acid may cause LPR and finds its way to lungs and to the heart causing these rhythm fluctuations. I have experienced these a lot and I gave hopes as doctors could not find an answer for this and I am fed up taking PPIS as they will decrease the calcium levels in body and may increase the susceptibility to infections in long run and which may alter our body vitamins, minerals and good flora in our body.
I am trying to research finding a natural cure while taking some intermittent antacids get some relief and there should be a cure for this some where in our primitive medicine.

Surely is anxiety dear. Stay focused, keep busy doing something, and breathe slowly...keep cool in front of a fan or ac vent with cool washcloth on face

Yea I have been having the same symptoms, after I was diagnosed with H Pylori infection, after my antibiotics treatment, I had same symptoms, GERD/Acid Reflux and tingling on my left arm and radiating pain on my back.

Then the doc recommended me on trying Bioeffective A, a herbal meds 2ce a day, 30 mins before meal and it had showed me good results for 2 week so far, i do have here and there attacks but not that severe but I think I ate something that triggered GERD. The doc recommended me to take it for a month.

So far I read up on Bioeffective A, it has really good natural nutrients and no side effects compared to other meds I've been taken so far. I hope this will help me eradicate H Pylori bacteria and GERD/Acid Reflux for good.

I have been diagnosed with gastritis and I have been feeling a lot of pains myself. I am 28 I have had ekgs done on me and said it was normal. I have been having pain in my head and chest feels tight like it’s caving in. I get flair ups where my whole arms feels numb or tingling all the way from my stomach up to my neck and back of my neck. I felt like I was having a heart attack but was told it was my gastritis and anxiety together that made me feel that way. I have been feeling really light headed and when I sleep I wake up in the middle of my sleep. I’ve been to the hospital and try to fall asleep and machines go off like I’m having sleep apnea. I get pains in my chest on my left side mostly but also comes on my right side and also in my bad. When I sit done or kinda sit uneven I feel something in my head and chest. My nose is congested but no mucus in my nose. I get pressure in my head, I asked my doctor and they said it might be a sinus infection and gave me Amox acillian, (idk if I spelled that right). I’m on Omeprazole and cerafate. I get dizzy and light headed when I’m at work or if I’m focusing on my phone or tv. I try to sleep and wake up with my head heavy and feel like I’m gonna black out or faint. I don’t have an insurance so it also makes it hard for me to get medical help or any answers to my questions. This is very uncomfortable and just wish it would go away. Iya very stressful and helpless and always get this feeling like something serious is gonna happen to me or ima lose my life soon. I have been having lots of gas and burping also and drink water but still feels dehydrated for some reason. Throat dry or scratchy. Try to see a gi specialist but unfortunately I don’t have that kind of money to see them nor do I have the insurance. Tried to apply for emergency Medicaid but was denied that also. Just hope everyone finds answers and gets well better very soon
