Hi Bell-co ,i got my ultrasound results,no stones but i have Polyps in my gallbladder sized around 3mm.I am not sure if they can cause such pain that i have..i did read somewhere that the pain can be same as from gallstones.

Ok talked to the specialist,he said polyps re 3mm and to small to be causing cancer.Don't remove GB monitor polyps and if they increase above 1cm remove GB.
Also Spec want to see me same day after CT scan is done..at least something is happening after 4 months of stall.

I am a 59 yr old professional woman.  Over the years I have incurred a spastic colon and a gluten sensitive stomach.  HOWEVER, for the past four months I have had nausea after eating!  If I do not eat nor drink I feel great.  I do not do caffeine nor have I ever smoked.  I very seldom have a glass of wine (maybe three times a year? at the most).  I never eat red meat and very seldom eat white meat.  I may eat fish at times.  I stay away from lactose.  So, I am nauseaous then I vomit and feel better.  I have had the gall bladder scan about a year ago and it showed nothing.  I was told ten to eat a BRAD diet which consists of rice, apple sauce, jello........I will eat soft boiled eggs also.  I am an A+ blood type and have researched my food groups.  It is exactly me!  I am a grazer from the past.  BUT I work and find it hard not to eat of the mornings due to getting light headed and then comes lunch and I end up having a squash soup or my own vegetable soup but the nausea is so bad I lose my food in the bathroom afterwards!  I am at my wits end.  This is so frustrating.  Any one out there who has these symptoms?

Find a functional medicine doctor. They are a medical doctor with extended training in functional medicine. They have more ways of testing to find the CAUSE of the low functioning gallbladder and often treat naturally first. Many are Integrated Medicine Doctors. I am a Mom and would not want to have my son do surgery. I would try other means first. I pray you can find a great functional medicine doctor for her. There is a reoccurring theme to everyone's posts, they are not better off after surgery. They all seem to have more problems.

I have had anxiety for years but controlled it with Lexapro. Got off that 6months ago and have started the nausea road. It was lite and tolerable for 5 weeks and I assume from nerves. Past 2 weeks have gotten so much worse my doctor said the seritonan in my system without the Lexapro and my anxiety is causing my nausea. Starting back on Lexapro 3 days now and nausea is much worse. It's a side effect of starting again and should last 2 weeks. One way I was able to determine its anxiety nausea is I take Xanax 3 times a day until the Lexapro settles in my system. It's been a great cure for me. I was surprised at the nausea being from anxiety. I have never experienced nausea all day. It gets worse on these spells that last about 1 hour. I would suggest anyone that may want to rule out  a high stress level or anxiety to try Lexapro and see if that helps. It works for 4 hours each pill, so 3 a day does it for me. This is just till the Lexapro kicks back in. I was on Lexapro for 7 years and felt great. I had nausea once a year if that. Just a suggestion for anyone who wants to try and rule out anything anxiety related. Some anxiety is so minor, you don't know you have it. Oh, and Lexapro has almost no side effects after the first few weeks and you do feel better.

Hello. I'm wondering if you'd mind sharing how things turned out for your daughter. Mine is 13 and although she's been nauseous for almost 2 years, we thought it was the arthritis meds, but now it's so severe she can't ride in the car and eating more than 1/3 cup at a time makes her nauseous. Her GI is stumped after clear scoping results, and her PCP thinks we parents are crazy! She's normally so happy and now cries and feels hopeless. I hope things worked out for your daughter. Thank you.

My 12 year old daughter has been going through terrible nausea for a year 24/7; she even moans softly in her sleep.  The drs tried to suggest it was school anxiety too.  That's what they say when they don't know what's going on.  She loves school and does very well.  In fact, she cries because she can't go to school and has no life, except to lie on the couch being nauseous.  I went to 2 chiropractors who do homeopathy, and they both independently said it is her gallbladder full of sludge which needs to be flushed.  My daughter is taking supplements to achieve this but it will take a while.  I thought about seeing if the gastro would remove her gallbladder, but I see above that it didn't stop the nausea for several of you.  I'll just stick with the homeopath treatment since it seems the regular docs don't have much to offer in this area.  Wishing each of you a quick return to health...

Is the gallbladder cleanse a prescription, a procedure, or do you buy it somewhere? Thanks.

I'm in tears reading all this thread. It's such a relief to see people who have had the same problems as me. I'm currently in a bad way nausea wise, it's took over my life. I can hardly do anything as I don't feel like eating have lost a lot of weight abd have no strength because of hardly eating. I have to force feed myself breakfast hoping it'll help the nausea but it doesn't always. I need some tests, I recently was in accident and emergency for tummy pain, I had a CT scan but nothing showed on there, I feel sick when I wake up or after a nap. It's exhausting. I dread organising going out because I don't know how bad I'm gonna feel :( I've had a niggle in my right side normally worse when I've eaten something stodgy like pizza (which I did last night) and I'm suffering today because of it. Not going to accident and emergency I don't feel that bad atm, but after the bank holiday I am going to the docs. I want my life back.

I have gastroparesis and my gallbladder empties at 30%(as of 2 yrs ago) with double to triple liver enzymes. But I'm not worried about myself..it's my 9 yr old. Stomach issues since 4, also has gastroparesis. Double, triple and rising liver enzymes, along with GGT which is her gallbladder. She had a  hyda scan last year, gallbladder was working 30%, doctors did not want to remove her gallbladder(nearest surgeon who would was 5 hrs away and he said if it was an emergency case. A year later, present day, all related enzymes have now tripled with less than 18% of her gallbladder is working now. Sad thing is she's learning to tolerate the pain to be normal. We go yet again today for a surgery consult. Sooo now I'm wondering if it's genetic, does anyone have any thoughts on this?

It is so nice to find a site that many others of all ages and gender are having similar symptoms. I am a re-occuring patient with h-pylori infections dated back to 1995 and today I continue to have stomach problems that range from moderate to severe in stomach bloating, recent constistent nausea and burping and my need to do the number 2 is always there. It doesn't matter what I eat or drink, even water causes me to feel nauseous, I feel it more after breakfast and could last all day. I take tecta to help, I have gone to ultrasounds, light passed to my stomach and recently went to a HIDA scan, I am fed up and feel drained by this. I have learned that my mother and some sisters have all had their gallbladder removed, so maybe this is heriditary? All I know is I'm in constant discomfort and embarrassed bc without warning I burp and feel to vomit. I'm seriously considering to just stop eating bc when I did to do to the flu/sinus infection I lived on liquids and did not feel those problems. Unfortunately, I need food< I hope my doctor can figure out what is wrong and help me, because it's hard to live a normal life like this.

I thank you all for sharing it has helped me further to investigate and search for a solution. I hope you all get better. Peace
