I had 2 x 2nd degree hems banded last Wednesday (16 September 2015). The procedure itself was an absolute breeze, it took around 5 minutes in total, and so far, absolutely zero pain. Although fours days on, there's quite a bit of blood loss on bowel movement. So will need to monitor that closely.
In terms of any improvement in my ED however, it's obviously too early to tell as my hems haven't dropped yet. And even when they do, I will probably need to give the blood pressure in my sphincter time to re-adjust and settle down. As above commentators have expressed, they didn't notice immediate improvements in their ED, but over time i.e. days, weeks.
I will definitely check back with you all in around six weeks (after post-op clinical review), to give you a 'thumbs up' or not ... so to speak.
Fingers crossed guys!
Best regards
Tony
Hi all, I'm having a whole host of problems at the moment that i am finally dealing with. One of which is that my erection has been dwindling over the last couple of years (since moving to a new area..... odd but when i first moved there, i noticed my erection falter, when i left the area for a day or two, it was back to normal (fact), but now, after being there for 2 years, it doesn't get better any more when leaving the area!) First thing first i figure, is to leave the area and get healthy and fit. So staying at friends house on Hayling Island, been eating healthily and EXERCISING! My erection since, has gone from dismal to almost non existent! I have had hemorrhoids for about 15 years now, they're pretty bad (interestingly, during this time, i have had seriously dark circles under my eyes.... anyone have the same??). Hence my finding this site. The fact that i am exercising (squats and running included) could be feeding my hemorrhoids with blood etc (as i am discovering by reading every ones posts). So, i am in agreement with you guys, it makes sense as far as my situation goes.
One more interesting thing, very interesting, i use to get one hell of a lot of blood come out when going for a c**p etc, i mean A LOT, like i was on a friggin period or something, the doctors said it was my internal hemorrhoids. About 1 1/2 years ago, i stopped eating gluten (completely gluten free), for the last year, there has not been a speck of blood (only once when i had too much booze (including bear that also has gluten in)). This is fact, and very interesting considering i had been putting up with the concern of torrents of blood while crapping for over 10 years (it had become normal and i figured that was just how i was from then on!). I am now going to get my hemorrhoids sorted thanks to you guys.
2 questions
1. does anyone else that has/had hemorrhoids, also have/had dark circles under eyes?
2. had anyone else moved area or house when they're ed started?
Many thanks to this site and all who have posted, cheers
Best Regards,
AA
Yes I have the circles under my eyes too bro. It's very strange to wake up and look worse then when you went to bed hey, I'm getting my hemmy banded in a few weeks bro cause i'm sick of this feeling this weird ED that comes and goes is annoying as f**k. I didn't move house when my ED started but i did thhrombose a hemmoroid and ever since I have felt a new sensation as I would describe in the area between my balls and ass. it's not getting any better with conservative measures, I have found using nitroglycerine cream gives some relief. I was reading the other day people with similair symptoms claim they have a diminshed ability to do that thing where you make your penis "jump" by tensing certain muscle groups. this is the same for me. The only time I have felt normal since the thrombosis is when I took a big sh*t one day and for 5 minutes I had restored sensation, i believe the dark eyes are the bodies way of saying something isn't right. The amount of blood you speak of concerns me man I have only ever had small amounts until the day after i thrombosed a hemmy then I had a fair amount. My theory is the bulging hemmoroid is pushing on a nerve and/or vein that is connected to the penis/groin. And the reason some people with hemmoroids dont suffer from this is because of the position at which the hemmy is situated.
Best of luck man.
I think the two happen as you age so they sort of coincide or seem to. I've had hemmers for many years, 30 or more. About 10 years after the hemmers showed up I had heart bypass surgery but I never tried to blame the heart attack on the hemmers. After the surgery they put me on all kinds of BP pills. Later my erections became softer and softer until they were gone. I didn't blame that on the hemmers either, I kind of figured it had something to do with the BP pills. My back pain and leg pain I blamed on a bad back not the hemmers. I had that long before the hemmers came to visit. I found a good chiropractor who fixed that. It's my understanding that hemmers are simply sacs of blood that form around the anus. My doctor told me to use cortisone 10 to relieve the soreness and warned me that I might see blood once in a while if one happens to break and not to worry as it will heal like any blood blister does. I don't know why people should be blaming all kinds of other maladies on their hemmers as all they are is a big blood blister.
sorry my for my english i am from greek and my english is not perfect
for the question "CAN hemorrhoids cause impotence"
in my case: yes it can and it did
i suffered ed for 10 years so i know what was just my psychic and what was not and everyone who sufferes ed know how its like. its very hard and sad
someone in this forum said he had a loss of sensitivity and for me it was the same. i went down to zero that i even forgot how the feelings feels to be turned on for a woman.
and some of the penises here say "no no it ccant be the hemmoroids" but u are wrong. it really can. you are wrong. you simply are
so the doctors (the penis-doctors) said, they dont know why i have the ed and said i have to live with it. and die with it. there were some other symptoms beside the ed. My pee was very weak (i couldnt pee easily i had to use my stomach to pee . it didnt come from itself)
so someday i went to a doctor for different reasons and he said i had hemmoroids. big ones. very big. so they banded it.
went home, got an erection for the first time in 10 years. a very very hard erection. i had forgotten how my penis looked liked when erected.
then i googled and read a study that there is a connection between hems and ed. and yes there is a connection. i know because i didnt expect that my ed could be cured by banding this motherfuckers in my ass and after one week after the banind i could have sex. so all these people saying there is no connection, you are wrong. there is a connection.
i have made spelling mistake:
the sensitivity went down to zero. and orgasm didnt feel so explosive like they did before my ed
so let me say, and some said it before in this forum (like the one who suffered ed for 10 years to): when u have ed aaaaaand when u have hems, go remove them (but not with these injection. i heard that can cause impotence. in my case they banded them). for me it was the anwser for all these years suffering for f*****g nothing. and the people who say there is no connection they are just wrong. go get you hems treated.
I'm not blaming it on the hemmy's, I was erection problem free with a hemmoroid, in terms of I could still get a super hard erection but not the 12 year old level of strength they were impeded but not that bad, I had crazy super hard erections as a young boy because I lived a very active lifestyle, then when i became inactive the hemmies developed, THEN I thrombosed a hemmy causing loss of sensitivity as the greek bro describes, I honestly believe your hemmorioid might not have caused you any issues due to where the vein was located and the muscle tone of surrounding tissue, but it's hard to naturally heal hemmoroids, not that it can't be done there are yogic breathing techniques that can heal them and natural remedies like dmso
anyway why did you have the heart attack bro?
