Hi, I'm 14 and I'm new to makeup and like I want to get good at it like I can do a little bit of stupid special effects, but I only have done it once and it kinda sucked. Can somebody just give some starter tips and brands to help get me started?
The thing that I find best is YouTube! Watch lots of makeup tutorials , you can find everything you need to know! Type in how to do foundation or eyelooks and just copy and practice
Oh, lots! Michelle Phan is good, Samantha and Nic Chapman, Lisa Eldridge... but you really have to find your own style that you like and then learn from the people who have a style that you like. You can also just Google or look on YouTube for specific topics like how to achieve the perfect eyebrows, how to get a great cat flick, how to blend using the Beauty Blender, etc. As for brands I like NYX for pretty budget friendly compared to some other brands but still really good stuff!
