Hey I am 27 years old mother of two. I had my tubes ligated in 2007 after my son was born when my marriage ended with my husband. I startd dating my boyfriend who is currently in the army about 5 months ago and I am having doubts that I could be pregnant.I usually have normal periods that last 4 days adn this last month it was on and off for 9 days with lots of cramps and pian or so I thought. My breasts were very tender and fuller. Well Since than I have noticed I have gained some weight and have a pudge and the pubic bone is not able to be felt. I feel cushion as I did when I was pregnant. My breasts are bigger fuller and tender, aswell as my nips are often hard which only happened when I was pregnant with my 2 children. I have had miscarriages before my children but nothing since my tubes were ligated. I always thought I could never get pregnant again. Me and My Boyfriend have talked about when he gets back from his deployment about getting my tubal reversed and having a baby if I can. But I didnt think it was possiable to get pregnant now with my tubes tied. I am really not ready for a baby right now, in a year it would be totally different. I am disabled and waiting on mooney to come and I am buying a house and car and my life is finally starting to make sence and fall together, so this is not a good time for a baby. I am going to get a HPT when I can get to the store. I am So nervous but I told my boyfriend and he isnt nervous at all. He said if I am then its fate and that he will be there every step of the way. I do want another child, I would love to be pregnant again but just not right now lol. Does anyone know any symptms and any deffinate way to find out if I am pregnant or no?
Hello I am 34 and had a tubal ligation after my daughter was born in 2001. They put clips on them. Anyway ever since my period has been regular and heavy and last 5 to 7 days. Well in Oct my period came on the 29th but wasn't that bad and was over by the 31st. I have been having symptoms of pregnancy. I have had fatigue, lower cramps, headaches, indigestion, and hemroids( which i have never had before). So now I am wondering if I could be pregnant. Is it best to take a test in the morning. It would be a blessing if I was casue I just married a year ago and we have been talking about getting a reversal done. I think I am going to wait till this weekend and if I have not started go ahead and take a test. I am going to keep my fingers crossed and hope my prayers have been answered.
I am 30 years old and confused. I am going on 4 months without a period. I am producing colostrum as well. I had my tubes tide in March of 2003 after my youngest was born. Is it even possible for me to be pregnant? I have taken 3 hpt and all came up negative. I called my doctor and he said he wasn't concerned and that I shouldn't be concerned until I have missed 6 periods. Well I am coming up on my 4th missed period and I am concerned. I have had missed periods before this but none went more that a month late. Should I be concerned about this or am I getting worked up for nothing? I don't know what to think or do. Help! I keep reading these stories about failed tubals and it is really bothering me.
I have been having the same pregnancy symptoms I had with my daughter except I had my tubes clipped a few years ago. I had a ultrasound and nothing showed up as a cause for the pain nausea and dizziness . Can I be pregnant again?
This is a little late guys, few years i suppose. But the search was still here. About 3 months after my Tubal Ligation i started getting symptoms of pregnancy, even menopause. I've been thinking every missed period was a pregnancy. I'm only 24 years old...i have had one miscarriage during this time. I got my tubal ligation done a month after giving birth to my last n youngest child he will be two in a couple of days. My periods were always regular till after TL. I skip three months n have it for 2 weeks or have it for 7 days every month...but its not normal by any means. I lost a lot of weight, my normal weight was 105-110. Just about a year ago i weighted 84 pounds. Doctors say it was depression..but now lately ive gained 5 pounds in a week i'm back up to 105, not complaining. But theres always that pregnancy scare. I looked all this up about 3 months or so ago when i had my miscarriage. Theres a thing out there now called Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. You should all look it up. Its about how when you get it done...it gives you these symptoms cuz there's a short, when they tie, cut or sauder ur tubes it cuts off some of the linkage between ur brain and the ovaries. I'm still looking into the pregnancy thing...but i believe PTLS is real, it hasn't been properly studied and when the lady emailed me back after i explained myself she said i had it. she told me what the dr.s would say if i asked them...she was right down to every word both dr.s told me. look it up ladies. i hope everything in the last 4 years or so has went well. sorry its late. :-( good luck
I don't have any symptoms of PTLS, I am having a CT scan next month I hope it shows something. I had bloodwork done it it's all neg so far for any hormone problems. I also missed my period this month and have nausea.
hello.... i'm 34, had tubal during the cesearan birth of my seventh child, 6 yrs ago.......now i think i'm pregnant.... i've never missed a period without being pregnant. i missed a period a few months ago for about a month and a half.....i freaked out and went to the doctor(who literally laughed at me) explaining that i wasnt pregnant, yet at the same time she told me that tubals weren't 100%... i was floored!!!! it's several months later and i feel movement and everything(yet i'm so far in denial). i have the nauseau, the fatique, it's crazy as well as scary....have decided to go get an ultrasound since the urine test came back neg. crazy as it may sound, i'm hopin it's a tumor(lol). SCARED!!! don't want anymore children. i c it's possible tho
Well im 36 years old and back in 2007 i had my third child. I decided then that i would have my tubes tied because i was now a single mom with three beautiful children. I started my college career last year and i will complete it in october of 2011, but all of the sudden i came down with flu like symptoms and i cant shake it and my pierod is late by almost a month. And im never late. I took three home tests and they were all negative but i know how my body feels when im pregnant. Damn it how could this happen this time in my life!!! :'(
i have been ligated(it was cutted) for almost 4 years. after i gave birth last 2007, my cycle is always regular.. but when i went in taiwan my cycle lasted for 4 days (NOV. 13-17). but since then till i returned home, from the 17th of November up to now December 31, i still dont have my period. Im worried if i could still get pregnant or not..
I had my Cat Scan and it is normal and now I have to wait and see if my period comes next week and take a another test. This is the first period I have missed except when I was pregnant with my daughter.
i am a 31 yer old mom of 2 tht had my tubes tes almost 7 years ago.i have been having unpertected sex with my husband because my doctor has stated i will not get pregnant.but the last few months i have been feeling dizzy,tired and my breasts hurt.my periods have changed from a normal 6 days to 1-3 days very light.i have taken 2 tests and they came back neg.is there a chance im pregnant or could it be something different.
My wife and I our expecting our fourth kid. She had her tubes tied six years ago. So it is possible just rare our Doctor told us we were is first failure ever which should have made us feel better. we found out a month ago and we are both feeling very numb still.
no you can not get regnant! if you do not have a uterus, then you don't have a place for the baby to go, if this is the case then males could have babies lol.
yeah i'm also freakig out! i just turned 25 dec 27th 2010. we just had our 4th kid nov 7 2010 he was 11 lbs 9.7 5wks early! he's our 4th but 8th pregnacy.

the reason why i had my tubes tied i couldn't stand the heart break of any more miscarriages. evern tho i have 2 who are 9 months and 2 days apart i don't think i can do that again.

Im 35 have my periods regularly on time all the time.. had my tubes tied 14 yrs ago. is it possible to be prego? i missed my Aunt Flo for the month of Feb. nothing.. I got no signs of being prego just that my jeans are snugg aroung my hipps which i dont even think thats a sign..LOL can it be???? what do u think??? menapuase...LOL hope not
