I have a displaced superior cornu of the thyroid cartilage causing me a foreign body sensation in my throat. I have gone through those paper you have mentioned and spoke with various surgeons. Some are more sceptical about the procedure and 2 of them were keen to undertake. I am worried about the procedure suggesting to cut the portion of the cornu which is connected to the lateral thyrohyoid ligament. Even the current symptom is constantly annoying me, I am worried for the change of the anatomy that the procedure will cause. Any clue?

I have same symptoms although I am aware the cause was an injury after manual strangulation. I was diagnosed with displaced superior cornu of thyroid cartilage. I have gone through all of the exams you performed and found a 35% stenosis of the carotid artery probably due to the injury.
