This is crazy. Its nice to know im not. Im now 35. I have never had normal periods and after a leap procedure at 18 they stopped all together. Unless im on the pill then i constantly bleed. I stopped taking the pill for good around 22 and did not use any other form of birth control. I just took provera every now and then but it makes me crazy sick and horrible cramps and bleeding for weeks so i dont take it as much as i should. Ive always had sharp pain in my overies when if stand to quick or twist funny. Only lasts a couple min then im fine. I finally was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago but was told there was not much they could do and didnt know much about it. I have never been pregnant. Never even had a scare. All my former partners have kids as well as my current BF of 11 years so i know its me. Since Jan i have had more and more ovary pain. Swelling in my hands and lymph nodes . Dizzy spells. Bleeding. No sex for last 2 years cause of pain and lack of libido. Fatigue and constant back pain. Can't find a doc to care if they even believe me. Thank god my guy is so understanding and supportive.
I am about to go crazy! I’ve been bleeding heavily for 5 months, back pain, weight gain, clots the size of golf balls or bigger, fatigue, shortness of breath, increased heart rate, cramping. Their response??? Take birth control! f**k birth control! I suffered 15 years of infertility only to get birth control thrown at me which has been useless. It hasn’t helped at all! I swear being a woman sucks right now!!!!
I have been bleeding for 6 months straight nearly bed written. I have been tested for thyroid and apparently it's ok(I call bs). I have tried numerous birth control pills and the results were I was basically stoned 24/7. Never had a miscarriage nor pregnant. I am thinking that maybe it is a possibility of PCOS.
How old are you? I am going to be 52 soon and have been suffering with non stop bleeding. I was put on a progesterone only pill that worked for a while, but then stopped working. I am reading on this website that a lot of young women are also going through this. I am 52 and should be hitting menopause soon, I would think. This is really insane.
I've experience the similar symptoms as most of these stories. Mine started with a normal period, on time, as always the past 3 years I have used Sprintec. The day my period should have been wrapping up, i starting having blood clots, this went on for about 3 days. I started feeling tired and weak by day 3 and that morning almost passed out, i was not myself i and i could tell something was wrong. My doctors visit turned into an ambulance ride to the hospital. Once there i received an exam and ultra s ound and later that night once i got into my room i passed o ut while sitting on the toilet from losing so much blood. I had to have a blood transfusion and i was fine thank goodness. Next orning was scduled for D+ C and MRI . Flash forward the next 7 months to now, currently, i have had no stop in the bleeding. Im seeing 2 doctors and specialists here and there, doing blood tests. Doctors are 'set' and w hat is causing it, says may case suggests ' adenmyosis'. My doctor says even with all the cases she has
seen in adenmyosis, my case is different as not responding to methods. i've tried birth control pills and for about 2 months have Nexplanon. Waiting and hoping for changes. I hope sharing my story has helped.
