yeah same im concerned cause some are saying its cancer some are saying its normal

I have been coughing up yellowish green mucus. My throat was so swollen they sent me to a ENT doc. He sent me to a special surgeon and had my tonsils removed only to find out there was a huge tumor back there to. So I had to wait a few months to heal from tonsils surgery. That was 2014. Now it's 2023band I still coughing up thick yellow green stuff so thick I feel I can't breath till it comes up and out. Some time s it's so scary I here alone and can't get that thick stuff up. And it's sometimes causes me to throw up. Chest hurts so much. And I get so red from lack of air for 6 mins trying to cough that thick stuff. My doc is ordering a CT SCAN thinks I might have a blockage or cancer. Any ideal what I could use to break this thick stuff up to breath better
