Mirana is notoriousfor causingpregnancy symptoms, and I am constantly tking prego tests because I have no period so there is nothin to tell e otherwise when these symptoms develop. right now I am super nauseous and hav been spitting (a side effect I had during pregnancy, there is a name for it just cant remember). But I wouldn't stress it if ur test ts ngtive, but I would go have placement checked becaue sometimes if it has moved it wll caus pregnancy symptoms as well. Good luck to you.

I've felt "kicking feelings" too but was not prego, I think it is gas but the location of the gas is in the area of the mirana giving a feeling of kicking, u can often feel gas through ur stomach. also I mentioned in a previous post to check the placement of the mirana. that can cause crazy symptoms as well. in early pregnancy u would not feel kicks that high up, another thing to chck would be ur gallbladder. Female hormones often danage the gallbladder especially in women who hae had children. contrary to popular belief gallbladder issues are not strictly dietary. I just had my gall bladder out for that very reason. I'm a nurse as well if that helps.

I have had mirena for 3 months and I have 3 kids aged 8, 2, and 5 months. i have had, dizziness, headaches, tender breasts, and moodiness plus I am always starving and feel bloated for the past month. I have taken 4-5 preg tests and all were negative. I am not sure what is going on either! If anyone could respond that would be great!!! Thank you!

My coil has slipped over a year ago but its just been left as i think i missed a appointment !! Also they told me i am the one in a few that the mirena has not stopped my monthlys !! Its has been very painful from the start and i had lots of weight gain . I have had yet again a negative urine test and my docter a few days was rather stern with me telling me im not pregnant , i am not in the change as blood tests came back so i still in the dark with more feelings inside of me !! I am going crazy ! I need to see another doctor and ask for a ultrasound as in my body and mind i feel i got a baby kicking inside of me !!

anybody actually find out if it was gas or a baby kicking? have had similar symptoms.

I have had my scan results !! I am not pregnant after 6 weeks of my mind and body thinking I am and all the stress that went with it !! I have been confirmed on having a Phantom pregnancy probs brought on by IBS symptoms or my Mirena , we are yet to find out !!

I too would like to know desperately. I have 6 children the youngest 15 and thought my days of babies was over. I did have a merina inserted after 4 months I had all the signs of pregnancy and having 6 kids I certainly know the signs. I did a home preg. test this was neg. and a blood test was neg. I am now 10 days over due and am really scared.

I am going through the samething i have 2 kids almost 5 yr old and 2 yr old im having pregnancy symptoms weight gain a little nauseous headaches tender breast cant sleep on my belly weird felling on stomach like its tighning im on my 10 miss period too never had a missed period untill now took 3 pt and all negative i have a drs apointment on tuesday... this is the the 2nd time i have mirena didnt have this with my first time iused it im just worried hope i get some answers at the drs will catch up on tuesday

Hello all... I am having the same type of situation and I know Im not crazy. Every time I lay down I can feel fluttering and once in a while I can feel it with my hand. I have been pregnant 3 times and ended up with 2 kids. I know there is something going on with me but all my pregnancy test are negative. If you have been to the doctor or know what it could be please email me thanks.

I went to the drs on tuesday it was no help she kept telling me that mirena is very effective but did not tell me why I felt these symptoms it made feel like im crazy I just have to wait if I still feel like this im going b back

I went to drs hospital back and forth for 6 weeks , no one would listen i had to demand a scan and eventually found out there was nothing there !! I literally thought i was pregnant with all the feelings in my tummy !! But as soon as they showed me on my scan and found out i was not pregnant all the feelings went away !! I was going crazy all this time !! Docters should listen and have more sympathy for us women that go through all these feelings in our minds and bodies !! But I have read that so many women can be pregnant on the Mirene !! Just perciviere for a end result !!

reading that sounds just like what im going through at the moment iv been feeling that way for about 2month even told the nurse how i was feeling be for having my smear and she said dont worry its a sickness bug going around , did the smear could see my strings in place from my marina coil , so i went away thinking it will pass in a few days but no 4 test later another visit 2 see my doctor he gave me some pep medicine n said its indigestion , i feel like im going mad , going 2 get a 2nd appinion as im not happy feeling like this still , hope u get 2 the bottom off it as so do i asap just would like to no .

I've had the mirena since August. I been feeling weird pinching near Where my ovaries would be. I have felt moving in my stomach as Well. I also been sick to my stomach and craving absolutely everything I did when I was pregnant with my son which is 4 months. I'm not ready for another baby. I'm so afraid to take a test and it say positive. What have you found out??
