I was wondering if you found out if you were pregnant or not , I'm feeling something in my stomach and I've tooken 2 tests and both negative??
The few times I felt pregnant while having Mirena, I was NOT. This is my 2nd Mirena, and I do still get flutters from time to time, but no pregnancy in the 5 years I've had it.
I know this was posted over a year ago but did you ever find out if you were pregnant?

Hello... So im reading rereading the same thing that im experienceing.. Ive been on the mirena for 3 years i uave had two kidsi have not been nauseous like my first two i gained weight i had flutters a couple of mmnths ago didnt think nothingof it thought it was this past week nothing but hard core like a jolt of movemnt alot... Really got me worried convinced im preg and i have tsien two oreg test negative but the movements im experienceing is definitely not a negative! If anyone has some answers please help!
Guys, be careful around Mirena. That stuff has caused numerous health problems like hemorrhaging and sometimes the IUD can get embedded in the uterus.

I posted about the flutters and jerking phenomena, and NO, was not pregnant any of the times I rushed out to buy tests. (lol) I know now when I feel them from time to time they are just from the hormones. I am on my 2nd Mirena. The first one lodged into the side of my uterus (I knew this was a possibility- but when compared to the implants, shots and constant pill popping, I took my chances). A quick trip to my Dr's office and a little discomfort later, it was taken out, and replaced a few months later. When I did have the IUD taken out, my NIGHTMARE periods came back and all I could think about was getting another one! Planned Parenthood funding took care of the entire cost of my 2nd IUD, and has been successful for 3.5 years now! I am 30 w/ one kiddo, and would recommend checking out all of the side effects before going with it, and know your body!!! This option of birth control fit my lifestyle and has worked out for me so far.
hi I have the exact same symptoms and have been feeling movemrnts and kicks, have had numerous negative tests since December and just wondered if anyone was actually pregnant xx

Ok I'm on my second round of Mirena. The first time I had it in for a year and had terrible contraction like cramps, very painful so I had it removed. The round my bleeding was normal to heaving with regular periods. The second try a year later I've had no issues. The first six month I had normal bleeding and now my periods will come every month with little to no blood. I'm talking using panty liners for 2-3 days, I can't remember the last time I used a tampon or slept with a pad. I still get all the normal period symptoms though. I had my last "period" 5 weeks ago, and spotting two weeks after that; which is abnormal. I've had all the prego symptoms too. Especially the flutters in my lower deep abdominal area thought the day. I've had negative pregnancy tests. I've found out I'm not pregnant. Verified not pregnant and I still have the feels. I'm seeing it as the next phase in the use of this birth control because my body and cycle has changed on it. If any advice; just know time will pass and you will definitely know if you are or aren't pregnant pretty quickly so use it as a notice to give yourself some extra care.
