LMAO. Excuse me if I've offended anyone with the way I've started my reply. I put LMAO because I have been dealing with this since I was 16 yrs old and im now 28 turning 29. It has been brutal and what keeps me from losing my mind is that other people in the world are suffering from much worse illness' on a day to day basis. It happens to me when i get nervous, when i get excited , when i feel uncomfortable and even when i start exercising. What was strange is that someone mentioned something that really got my attention. As I was younger I was constantly in the gymand it barely happened and within the passed 7 years i haven't been as active it has went from a 5 to a zillion in pain. It hurts really bad.  I would love help as well but unfortunately because of the fluctuating weather that new York has much warm weather is not here. Any help would REEEEEEALLY  be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Talk to your doctor. My daughter was having similar issues and was diagnosed with Raynaud's phenomenon and subsequently with mitral valve prolapse. Google it. It can be secondary to another issue like her MVP or primary and an issue all it's own. It isn't serious on its own. It can be secondary to a very wide range if diseases and illnesses. We were glad to know what it was and to find out about MVP.

I had this after starting a vegan diet. It kept getting worse and worse. I tried massive doses of calcium, magnesium and vit D nothing worked but in the end it was IODINE in the form of kelp tablets that worked for me

brothers and sisters i found the solutiion basically when your skin is dried out it cracks and causes a itching sensation the way to solve it is to avoid hot showers to stop ypour skin drying out also for a cure it would be good to use coconut oil as it moisturises and prevents it

Hi, I am 57 years old and I too have suffered with this same condition since I was 16 . I know exactly what you are going through. The only thing I can tell you is don't give up. Breaking a sweat helps a lot, in fact it goes away for a while but comes back as long as the weather is cold. Dress light in the winter, when you feel a spell coming on slow down a little and breath deeply for a while. You might consider moving to a warmer climate. When I was in my early twenties I lived in Texas for awhile and it did not bother me there. Most important, let others know of your condition so they will work with you. I know that it is very painful. My Doctor told me to try Clariton (sp) (antihistamine). It seemed to work for awhile, but then that ended. No one has been able to help me, I am just living with it. I wish you the best of luck.

I have had the same problem and it is mainly because of Dry Skin... Applying a mositurizer would help immediately. But as a long term solution, once a week apply coconut oil or Sesame oil in light quantities all over the body or on a itchy areas and take bath. This also makes the skn glow and keeps it healthy. I tried this and I had got rid of this problem now... Try this...

Wow...with so many of us  experiencing this gives me the impression that it cant b that serious a problem, coz when I googled this. it first took me to some very serious nervous diseases and I was  a bit freaked out for a couple of days. I'm 25 just moved from hot humid tropical climate to Australia where its winter now, and I suddenly started getting theses electric shock like painful itches, at first when I was carrying some groceries and walking home, then it started occurring on most mornings, esp. in the bus when its heated. I haven't started any heavy exercises yet, such simple yoga for now, I'm pretty certain there itches will come back once I start doing something that will break a sweat.

But hey till we get a nice solution, let clench our teeth and bite it out, and curse the mother****** and curse it again....and close our eyes, take a deep breath and scratch a lil bit and curse again...mother******

Sorry if I'm a lil immature here, but mentally fighting the itch is better and feeling as a victim of it...He aint got nothin on us...F*****

I am suffering from all such symptoms for last 8-10 years.

The triggers for me are:

1. Sun Rays in Winters

2. Wearing clothes made of Synthetic material like polyester.

3. Eating spicy food in Winters

4. Taking exercise or warming up my body in any other way in Winters

5. Wearing too many(a warm inner with sweater over it) woolen clothes in winter.

The ways to get relieved:

1. Wear Clothes made up of Cotton

2. Avoiding direct sunshine in winters

3. Applying Body lotion in winters

4. Drinking a lot of water may help

5. Eating less spicy food

6. Sweating is the best temporary solution

Some Symptoms I developed over all these years:

1. Dry scaly skin in winters

2  Red small pimples all over body

3 Boils over shoulders and small pimples on stomach and below naval cord

4 Small pimples on my wrist and ankle area, from which some transparent liquid oozes out and it itches too much

What Doctors say?

1. It is due to dandruff on my hair

2. It is urticaria

3. It is dermatitis

4. It is an allergy due to change in season

I got Homoeopathic Treatment: I got temporary relief, but not a permanent one

I also tried allopathic treatment: Emoderm lotion and Fucidic cream helped a lot, it works but it is not a permanent solution

Why don't we put our problem on some Doctor's Forum to get the solution or at least know, what is this disease actually called?

I am sure that a lot of people across the globe are suffering due to this disease and we should together do something to get rid off it.

I used to have this crazy itching all over the body as if someone is poking tonnes of needles. I figured out that when I take shower with cold water in winters this problem does not happen. So I used to do that every winter. It wasn't easy to take cold water shower in zero degree, but I was willing to do almost anything to get rid of this itch. Maybe try mildly cold water and see if it helps.

I used to have the same excruciating condition since I was 15 yrs old. Initially it was only during the winters but recently it started even during the rainy season. Any amount of stress, work or any excitement, sun's rays used to trigger this condition. Even while sleeping, if I was stressed or having dreams used to trigger this condition. I tried all sorts of oils.. coconut oil, Neem Oil, even mustard oil... but got no relief.. I took anti- histamines. Again no relief. just wanted to die!!! Even my dermatologist told me not to bother with allopathic treatment as there is no cure. He suggested that i take Homeopathy. And  voila.. I'm much better now. I started homeopathy during last winters and got immediate relief. This year too I took homeopathy well in advance and it hasnt happened at all!!! Believe me it works!! If you need any help do feel free to contact me! I'd love to help you out!!! aalokdotpuriatgmaildotcom!! cheers and hope you get well soon!!!
