You all might beexperiencing something that is equivalent to hell on earth...

You might be allergic to marijuana.

It is easily possible to be allergic too it, you can google the symptoms of it to confirm wether or not you are really allergic, if you are experiencing bad symptoms from the cannabis you smoke it would be wise to see if you are allergic too it and trying out a different strain of cannabis.

I wouldn't just ignore the symptoms just because the feeling is good because a severe reaction could be fatal... Of course that is super rare and extremely unlikely to happen, but I wouldn't risk it.   Even though people claim there is no recorded evidence of someone being killed by consuming cannabis, doesn't mean it isnt possible under rare circumstances, Don't get me wrong I am not against cannabis trying to tell you this to get you to stop doing it, I am telling you it so hopefully you can search up the symptoms and see if you are allergic.

Also another thing, your weed could be laced.

AND another thing, I had a screen for my pipe but I lost it so I used aluminum foil for a home-made screen and this is the first time I felt symptoms of back pain, but this was also the first time I smoked a joint in my pipe, (yes the roach of a joint I put into my pipe and smoked it including the paper) so maybe it has to do with something involving that, I've heard claims that aluminum foil causes you to have althzeimers (cant spell that xD) Again not sure if that is true just have heard people say it. I hope I helped you guys. :)

There are no stated effects that marijuana can cause back pain.

It could be your kidneys or lungs ever think about that? You can be allergic to certain kinda of pot. Do a detox and drink tons of water and take a break from smoking for awhile.

I really don't like the sound of all these people saying it never goes away. The pain I get it located in the middle-upper back and is induced by almost every drug I've taken recently. Marijuana, LSD, MDMA, alcohol, caffeine, possibly codeine. Cocaine might cause it, not sure. I always drink with it so it might just be the alcohol there, cocaine actually removes all back pain I have for a while, which is great. I have other issues with the area concerned but that I've had for a while, the pain associated with the drugs came a while after my other back pain. If anyone had a similar problem, please let me know what the f**k it is. I love drugs, and I do NOT wanna stay clean and sober till my dying day, that would be a hellish nightmare.

Risks are not eliminated when drugs come legal. (Also, marijuana is legal where I live.)

hi! I had the same problem for years. For 3years i tried smoking every few months, and every time i felt extreme pain. anywhere. If i had a little hadache, it would get extreem if i smoked. And alwas, every time, i felt joint or mussle pain. (back, jaws, wrist, ankle...) The pain so bad i had to go to bed immediately!

howewer i resolved my problem snd now i can get stoned without a problem. :) It was stress and anxiety. I had some personal problem that lasted exactly as my weed pain problem. It is not weed but i can relate to not sloking while it lastes. :) Hope things get better :)

Damn, this is the same exact story with... I smoked almost every day, morning and night... a lot, for 7 years... Then I started noticing that every time I smoke a lot - I would wake up with a crazy back pain.. some days I couldn't even walk!!! Then, if I take it easy and stop smoking - it would go away. WTF? I always loved weed, it used to do good to me... Now I get back pain from smoking, gray skin and bag under my eyes.... Please legalize this sh*t, so we don't have to smoke real sh*t!

I have fibromyalgia too and experience the same as you but only with momentary spasms...I cannot find anything to support our experience either. Doesn't matter if I have smoked it pure or cooked with it. Hurts bad. I have been tested for lupus but it was negative.

I too suffer from body aches when I smoke. Used to get high all the time in high school-never had a problem, quit for a couple years and now when I smoke my muscles are sore. Neck, back, etc. At first I thought it was just because I was being "aware of my body" but even when the head high is gone, my body is still aching. I'm surprised there aren't any articles studying or bringing this issue up. Also wondering if it's maybe a type of weed, climate, or possibly pesticide that causes this effect... been thinking about going to a dispensary and testing low grade vs high grade and strains from different areas

I have been a major toker for years, and when i was younger i had issues when i smoked that caused pain that wrapped around my ribs into my upper abdominal area and went down into my groin area all the way to my foot. Everytime i would smoke it would hurt so bad that after a small amount of time i was forced to quite smoking marijuana.A year went by and i tried a small amount and the pain was still there. Another half year went by and i ate some brownies and had no more symtoms. I started smoking again and had no more symtoms for a long time, but after years of smoking and now leagally my back pain has come back when i smoke. When i eat medables though it takes my pain away. I think the pain i had could have possibly started from marijuana that had pesticides on it or something else that was in it.I also feel that smoking it has something to do with the pain also because it increases you heart rate and if you have any small issues with your spine like bulging discs or back problems your veins enlarge causing more issues and pain. Try using medables or make sure your marijuana is rinsed correctly so you get only the working elementsof the plant and not a bunch of added garbage like fertilizers and such.

Certain kinds of weed is used for pain others is used for emotions I I heard that if you smoke anything but exotic it can cause problems a wen u quite u can feel pain that u didn't wen u did. Also weed controls the frontal cortex of your brain and that causes the feel good senses in your brain to not work right. The weed replaces you feel good senses.so wen u stop u get agitated easy and feel the pain that u didnt feel wen u smoked u need to get weed that is used for your problems go to medical marijuana and look up different strains u might find one that helps

Yes, as we speak, I have shooting pains in my elbows and torso. The dumb part is that I'm aware of the fact that weed does this to me, and yet I'm still smoking it. I've stopped a couple times before, and never miss the stuff after a week. As long as I keep smoking cannabis as an occasional indulgence, I wont experience the pain. It's only after 10 days or more of daily smoking that I start to get them, and the more days I streak together, the worse it gets. Most honest people I know, who have smoked cannabis regularly at some point, or currently, will admit it causes pain.

I have the same problem. IT it caused by the way you inhale the weed, the "piece" diffrent pieces have different levels of back pressure. When you take a hit it pulls on your diaphragmic, abdominal, & back muscles to expand your lungs and pull in the thc air/smoke. The piece that causes me the least amount of pain is the Volcano vaporizer because it fills up a bag, thus eliminating most of the back pressure. Still however I am in extreme pain every time I get high. Edibles too. After I get high I can barely stand up or sit or lay down and I have panic attacks from the muscle pain in my back muscles & abdominal muscles. Marijuana causes muscle spams & tension. Causes your back muscles to lock up. The only way to not have any pain for me, Is to be on a heavy dose of Xanax or alcohol so my body is so loose that the back pressure does not bother me.

The more you agitate the condition the worse it gets.

I too have smoked for a lot of years and stopped there for a year and started to vaporise instead and noticed that my back pain which i had endured for a couple of years started to ease. But just b4 christmas i decided to roll a fat one but with no tobacco .smoked it then went to bed a cpl of hours later wen i woke two or three hours later my back pain was back with vengence. I didnt think that it could be the marijuana but after doing the same 5 or 6 days later i woke again with the sore back so its defo the weed. Why i dont know but my guess is its down to the nutrients which are legally supplied at ur local friendly hydro and grow shops?????
