I am glad I discovered this forum. I am 61 years old and I have been suffering from low back pain for several years. I sometimes smoke cannabis and it has always made me feel good. But lately I've been getting terrible back pain whenever I smoke a bit of cannabis. The pain starts immediately, as soon as my little joint is finished. I have this problem with both marijuana and hashish. I find this a very bizarre side effect, but it does mean that I can no longer smoke cannabis.

Yes I am dealing with that same pain off and on for the past two or three days. It’s so bad I cannot fall asleep. It is brutal. What made your pain stop?

It’s the weed. Plain and simple. I smoked for years without problems but once it starts you might as well forget weed. It won’t stop. Eating, vaping or smoking all cause me severe lower back pain.
