Not everyone are great at spelling, genius.
And you are perfect in spelling???
Haha good one, "bottonist" lol.
Yes yes yes. It is not uncommon for an occasional smoker to be late or even miss a period after smoking. Your cycle should return to normal but it may take a month or two to regulate itself again
bottonist? Or Botanist? Lord have mercy .... lol
Where does it say he's a doctor? I missed that. But I giggled when you said that cause I said that too. LOL

Hi Rachy,
Marijuana does delay your period, speaking from my own experience . My October periods were late because I hadn't smoked Marijuana in months. They came like 3 days later. Neither am I on birth control.
Hope this helped.

Probably was high
I know I'm a little late on this but I just started having the same problem haha. I hadn't smoked in about a year and this summer I started smoking again and my period started to get a little whaky and this whole month I smoked just about every single day and my period is now 7 days late. (Coming from someone who has had a regular 27 day cycle) went to the gynecologist and got a pregnancy test which came out negative. Im scared sh*tless I'm just wondering how long did it take for your period to come back? If it ever did.
"Pothead Advice", although I take offense as I am a legal smoker, I would like to toss that one around when everybody's STONED because we all have that friend who turns into the professor when they smoke. :p I can laugh now as I post it but your stereotypical advice above made me upset. I don't smoke all day long but I smoke significantly at certain times to control symptoms. I work 25 hours a week for Habitat For Humanity. I never smoke before work, and I also don't smoke two weekends out of the month (Fri-Sun). I'm a middle aged female and as a female I would know a lot of things about the effects of marijuana on my menstrual cycle, especially since I use medical grade marijuana. I live my life with respect for others and am in turn well respected in all areas of my life. You can give advice information to women I support that but not listening to "Potheads" is contradictory to your real point. Your real point was providing women with information but yet you took it another step and had to cut on a group of people (marijuana smoking WOMEN) by calling us "Potheads". The women in the rest of the thread were merely stating there stories, fears, and experiences. If POTHEAD WOMEN didn't share their experiences with health professionals and others you would have no data to share because I'm Damn sure they weren't there weighing all those POTHEAD WOMEN'S pads for a year to monitor her menstrual cycle!
Well, my period was super heavy for two days straight until lastnight, I smoked two blunts and today it is much lighter. I would say that is a VERY good thing! :-)
This was 10 months ago, you weren't pregnant were you?
