when you smoke you.. you are more likely to sh*t alot.. dont ask me why but its like that.. all of my smoking friends agrees with me. so yeah i think that it deffenitly increases your metabolism. i used to sh*t once in two days. now its like twice a day. soo it doens't matther if u eat alot.. cuz the food goes fast in your body

I smoked for a few years and lost weight once I quit I gained 30lbs. That I haven't been able to lose. When people first start smoking they get the munchies but after regular use the munchies fade away. Friends of mine have also gained smoking about the same.

i dont know how but i'v lost 15kg in the past year smoking weed and on a fast food diet so it dose work, i feel and look great

i smoke every night and get the munchies every time i smoke , i gained 10 ponds in 3 weeks , i think if u want to loose weight eat before you smoke and after smoking just drink water because you become dehidrated , after sometimed you will loose weight .

Ok..well I think it does Ive always been a bit bigger and when I started smoking everyday I lost 2O I was never hungry unless I had smoked a lot does me mess with ur mind tho I now don't smoke and I've put weight on...

Eh wrong, everybodys bodies will act differently throughout smoking weed. - Me I was 200 lbs. - I started smoking weed. - I dropped 50 lbs in 1 year. - I feel I have really lost my appetite. - I don't get hungry even when im high as hell. - I also have GERD, that may be relevant..but i've had this for years and only this year when I started smoking is when I dropped weight bad.. - Again NO proof anywhere as everyone will act differently on it.

Not all people who smoke weed, eat like that. And a lot of the people I know who smoke pot like to go out and hike or be active while they are high. Weed makes you more aware of your body and connects you with it. You start to realize that you need to eat healthier and exercise. Have you ever tried smoking weed, and going to the gym? It's amazing

Also, when you are just sitting around smoking weed where snacks are available, that's when the lazy hits, and you don't even feel like getting up for a snack.  Haha.

well, i been smoking weed for the past 7 months and i work at a fast food restaurant at nigt shifts 12-5am, so when we take a little break we roll and burn, and guess what i eat for munchies and then later for breakfast? fast food. Anyways, during this 7 months i've been losing weight, and from 195pounds, i am at 181pounds which is a little weird because the only addition to my daily routine is my beloved marihuana.

I have to agree with one of the previous comments. If you are a soacial smoker you will get the muchies. My appetite has completely gone now that Ive been smoking too much for too long..again, i lost 30 kilos in a year. I now look like an ice junkie...so thin...and I hate it. I can go days without eating. But i have a pipe and Im completely content(until i look in the mirror)

YES...it is my OPINION that smoking weed make u lose weight.Although u get the munchies..some way/some how it doesnt effect u vs a none smoker..they will gain.I THINK it speeds ur metabolism up..I assume because thats what I read but Im not going to lie like I KNOW.Im a witness that while I smoked..I did lose a lil weight n maintained a 3/5..I quit 6-7mnts ago n Im in a 9.I know alotta small people that eat alot and people wonder why their not picking up weight..Im tryna start my career so I wouldnt dare go back although I gave it some thought.They say u gotta work for what u want..eating healthier and exercising is the key to weight loss

this is what i have read. researchers are already testing  marijuana as a cure to helping with obesity.that tells me that marijuana would help you loose weight, not gain

I read all the comments and weed does make u lose weight. I use to weight 200 and now im 165. Kinda scary for me atlease.

There's two types of weed (sativa and indica) ...sativa makes you focus,active, happy, energetic and "up" etc. If you already have the mind set to lose weight or be active/work out then this type of weed can aid with that focus ....Personally it has helped me ..the only issue is i feel like it takes me forever to do the task lol it feels like a 30 minute workout is about an hour because i zone out

I have noticed a decrease in my weight in the past few years since I started smoking daily. It is probably different for everyone, but I feel like some of the reason I have lost weight is because I became incredibly used to the feeling of smoking and craving to eat something and not doing it, because I would smoke so often. So I became accustomed to ignoring that craving, and I now rarely feel unignorably hungry, like I used to sometimes when I wasn't a stoner.
