When I smoke pot for a week straight I will lose between 5 to ten pounds. The reason I lose weight is because for me I breath deeper and breathing deeper is what makes you lose weight. When you excersize you breath deeper. I also do not get the munches.

Don't hate your body, think positive and help yourself by eating healthy and doing excersise.
If u really do hate your body u WILL do something about it.

I have been a heavy user of fine cannabis for the past 20 yrs, I weigh around 9 stone but in my heyday when I was smoking over 4 grams a day I weighed 8 , what happens to me is I get hungry but my stupid brain tells me that my hunger feelings are infact cravings for a smoke so I have a smoke relax and forget to eat, also I find it makes me lazy ... if there is food that needs very little or no preparation then I will eat but if it needs cooking or I have to go out and get food then I will go without, but if I'm out of weed I will stop at nothing to get my hands on some

It depends, some people lose weight because weed relaxes them and stress is a huge contributor to weight gain, so people who are less stressed are bound to lose weight. But there are also others who eat everything in site and sit around all day. I think the stoners who are more spiritual and meditative lose weight, and the stoners who sit around and play video games gain weight.

Not a healthy way to lose weight ! Though people who may have been in despair because of failure after repeated efforts ( as one guest spoke being sick of being overweight), the outcome may be fraught with other complications.  Persisting with healthy weight loss habits is a far more sustainable option. My two cents :O

Marijuana could easily make someone gain weight due to the affects of hunger after smoking depending on how often you smoke.

So true. Thats exactly what happens when I start smoking weeding heavily. I lose mad weight and have no appetite during the day . Thanks for this comment.

When u in ur teenage years up to 28-30 its when ur metabolism is at its fastest so Its obvious without overeating and eating at night or before sleep u wont gain weight or might even lose some cuz weed tends to make u mellow and little sleepy u wont be thinking about eating. But once u reach around 30 with same diet u always had when u were eating and not gaining weight this might change and u might start putting on pounds. I was never overweight till I reached 28 and been smoking since 18 years old.

when you first start smoking pot you gain a bit because you get the munchies pretty bad but when you become a regular smoker over a peroos of time you will begin to lose a lot of weight. i very rarely find myself hungry. i pretty much have to force myself to eat most days. its probably one of the easiest natural ways of losing weight!!:) but it is a slowish process and you gotta smoke a loy of weed. lol
