if you dont eat, your body basically goes into "starvation mode "
which means instead of gaining weight you will out it on because your body thinks its being starved so it wont use us as much fat as its used to therefore making you gain weight

I ate tuna and wheat thins and worked out 45 mins a day and lost 40 lbs in two months but you have to be careful and eat precise .. 1 can of tuna in water not oil! and about 12-15 reduced fat wheat thins.. It works the tuna really fills you up and provides you with lots of protein. Good luck!
All you guys are like dont eat and you lose weight fast well duh but it will cause serious mental issues in the long run you will never be small enough and what happens whenever you girls get pregnant when your older you wont be able to starve yourselfs cause you wil starve your baby then your body will blow up like a balloon and you will never be able to get as small as you were cause your body wont let you. Trust me I know. So dont start something you may regret someday lose weight slow if you want to lose weight.

Therefore, the key to losing weight, as all doctors say, is to eat (but in small portions and not until you feel full) and drink LOTS of water and tea. That works for me. :-(

ok eat breakfast lunch and dinner small portions. make sure it includes fruites and vegies. drink alot of water. walk around your block for a half hour 5 times a day in a fast pase. Trust me if you stick to this you will loose weight and be healthy at the same time. I was 150 at age 19 and in 2 weeks i was 140 keep in mind summers comming i want to stick to this and look hot
The stress created from running is physical... vs the stress created from work, family etc which is emotional. I don't think running will create cortisol unless you are emotionally stressed about running :)

Just a suggestion. Weight loss in a week IS possible. Look up the cabbage soup diet. Its brilliant! i lost 10 pounds in a week even though i didnt manage to complete it. Basically you eat as much cabbage soup as you want through the day. The more u eat the more you lose. However donk make the mistake most people make and think its just boiled cabbage because its not. The cabbage soup consists of ginger, leek, tomatos, Onions, peppers, cabbage, and a load of other things. Costs around £50 a week to buy. You are also given a diet to follow each day. It leaves you feeling physically and emitionally drained however the huge weight loss in a week is good for worth it. Warning: the toilet WILL suffer more than you lol. Look it up and give it a go. We all love our food to much to starve, and its not good for your body. Generally leaves you holding on the the fat stored in your body and adding on to it when you eat later on. you might be able to lose 15 to 20 pounds in a month or two with counting calories and exercise but not in a week unless you amputate one of your legs lol XD
Ok, I'm not going to lie. I eat one meal a day due to my meds making me feel like I can't eat at all. It will help you loose weight for that week, but when you go back to eating your body will think your going to starve it again and save food in the form of fat. NO GOOD! So I would go with light snacking and small portioned meals. My father lost weight by eating sugar free fudgesickles for dessert, snacking on watermelon, and upping his protein intake and veggies while cutting down on junk food. Also, I stopped drinking all soda, lemonade, really any sugary drink and switched to water and 100% juice with no additives (including no added sugar) and lost 20 lbs. Hope this helps.
Like others have said, not eating at all is the wrong way to go about losing weight. You will lose water weight and muscle weight, but if you keep this up for too long, your body will act as though you are being starved and begin to store more fat cells as a self defense mechanism. When you return to your normal eating habits, you will gain weight incredibly fast and weigh more than you had originally. It is best to eat 5 small meals a day (portions the size of your fist or smaller), stay away from cheese, carbs, and sweets.... stick to protein (meats, nuts) and fruits and vegetables.

Not eating for two to three days will not going to help you to loose weight. I think you need to follow a proper diet that will help you and beneficial for long term. If not eaten in one week and start eating in another will not affect any thing.
