THIS IS INSANE!! Not eating is incredibly unhealthy and will cause you to be very ill!! Your body NEEDS food for nutrients and energy!! If you really feel you need to lose weight, then do it the right way! WORK HARD AND EAT RIGHT!! Don't starve yourself. That could lead to weight gain, anorexia and even death. It's ridiculous to think that people actually say not eating is a good way to lose weight. Omg.

i think that eatting; and eatting healthy; as in your porpotion sizes; and eatting every 3 hours and excersizing is a great way. i wear 2lbs wrist weight and 5 lbs ankle weights all day and its been working great. i've lost 10 lbs in the first weeek.!

I'm sorry, but you sound like an id**t.  

First of all, water is essential for all your body systems to function properly.  Even if you are trying to not eat in order to lose body fat (also just a poor decision), your body will burn more calories and use the stored energy from your fat cells if your bodily is functioning as regularly as possible.  The body does not "eat" the fat cells, once you have fat cells they never go away they just shrink us the adipose tissue is used for energy.  This is one detrimental aspect of being overweight is that you are more prone to gain weight back as your body has those "shrunken" fat cells.  

Not drinking water and running till your shirt is drenched is absolutely absurd, if you want to faint or even die from over-exhaustion or overheating then go for it.  You can still exercise but doing so while extremely dehydrated can cause a number of serious problems or death.  

Exercise and a healthy diet is the best way to lose weight, you will be able to lose weight at around the same rate as not eating if done properly and it will be easier to keep the weight off.   Personally, i keep my caloric intake to 40% from carbohydrates, 30% from protein, and 30% from fat.  Studies have shown, and many diets follow these guideline such as "The Zone", that this balance is the optimal caloric proportions for your body to run on.  Thus, there will be the least amount of "extraneous" calories.  

I too have been anorexic before but it is a serious condition and is very harmful to your body in the short and long term.  I was hospitalized so I truly am speaking from experience.  Be safe and healthy- you only have one body, its not worth dying over.

hi, so i didn't intentionally do this, but i skipped dinner one night, and realized how quickly i started losing weight, so what i would do is eat a good size break fast and late lunch and stop eating at 4 and i would sleep around 12. within 5 days i lost 9 pounds, and now that i've come off of not eating as much, i've only gained back 3 pounds of it. i went from 138 pounds to 129pounds and now i'm 132. it's great. i did't starve myself, i just cut back on some junk food and had two meals a day rather than little snacks. good luckk

sweat suit. go to the gym and do biking for 30 minutes. eat carbs and protein in the morning and limit yourself to the food you eat at night. chicken is good at night. and limit your salt intake. it really does work.

i dont understand what is going on with me cause like 2 months ago i tried losing weight and nothing happened but recently i slept really late (summer) 
i wake up at like lunch time and my parents want me to eat but i dont feel like it cause i just woke up. thats been happening for like a week now and we i checked the scale i was 10 pounds lighter. im 13 years old and this doesnt make sense cause im a couch potato and im going threw puberty.. ive been getting taller and i thought that add weight but i guess something happened.... i was 5"4 and now im 5"5 but i seem to be losing weight so i guess if u want to lose weight do what i do.. i have no cramps.. or anything.. im perfectly normal.. i dont think this is healthy for me but i really want to lose weight so i will continue with weird idea

Avoid to eating can help in losing weight but it is not healthy way. Taking meal is very 
nesssery for the body, so skiping the meal may become dangerous for the health.

Um loosing weight to fast is NOT healthy at all...
If you want it to stay off the tip is to gradually get to your goal weight, if you do it very quickly, youll gain it all back n then some.
you need 3 standard healthy meals a day plus 3 snacks! exercise is awesome and will help you tone up and look healthier.
drink plenty of water( i prefer smart water ) bc it has electrolytes which your body needs...bananas are also great for which they have potassium which your body also needs. and remember you need a complex carbohydrate in every meal!!

some of these tips are unhealthy, there is no reason for somebody to need to lose weight so suddenly. Please, take care of yourselves.

well some people say don't eat ,that is unsafe and damages your body! If you eat fruit and vegetables and either go for a run/cycle for half a hour that will probably work...but if it doesn't then just don't eat sweats/junk food, hope it helps x

my breakfast consists of

Lunch:

-Protein shake

Dinner:

-tea
-water
-tea

its not healthy but I'd rather be thin & unhealthy then fat & unhealthy NO food what so ever! Im really active as in I always have a crammed busy schedule, always at work, school, or walking to the beach & working out so far I've lost about 7 pounds but I look incredibly smaller my tummy is super flat now but by the end of my 2nd week I hope to have lost 20 lbs oh p.s Im 5'5 & started at 150

im thinking of starting tommorow and have heard some different things of it. should i not eat anyhting at all? and for how long? and should i not eat anything but drink water but does water add pounds? ive heard that too. or willl i still lose alot of weight if i eat like 1 fruit a day or something? please feedback or something! :)
