Duromine 30mg for two weeks

I have been on duromine 30mg for two weeks now and lost 10kgs I haven't personally experienced any side affects myself. For the first two days I felt full of energy and had no appetite at all however I managed to eat small snacks so my body had that extra natural energy and drank plenty of water which has now become a natural habbit before eating any meals. I did for the first 3 days wake up early hours of the morning feeling like I had slept for days however this soon had stopped by day four. I must say you need to exercise if you want results it's like anything else you want to achieve you must work to get results even if its a 25 minute walk its something. It is important you keep your fluid intake up even if you dont like water. :-D
why do you say so?

Excercise is the number one key to losing weight....your theory makes no sense unless your taking the piss??
The amount of food you consume is 80% of the process in which to lose weight. Excercise is 20%. I have lost 36kgs with NO excercise at all. I have now began my fitness journey, I'm not as self conscious now because I've lost the weight. I just need to tone.
I was warned about Duromine affecting mental illness (I have bpd), however I've been on 30mg for only 3 days but I've been more stable than ever.
Hi how did you get on with it? I start tomorrow. Did you loss much weight?
Congratulations on your weight loss!! I am on day2 of duromine and i am constantly hungry! What's that all about? Shouldn't it cur your hunger?
Im worried its not going to work for me
You can sleep as long as you take it at bullshit o'clock in the morning, like set your alarm for 3:30am and take it, then go back to sleep until it kicks in.
(you'll know when it kicks in) if you have any history whatsoever with anorexia or eating disorders, if you're on anti depressants or anti psychotic medication they will also not allow you to have it nor will they prescribe it to you. and you cant lie because they thoroughly check your medical record.
being bipolar manic they will definitely not prescribe this drug to you because bipolar is permenently on your record,
reason being: Duramine is an "upper" which will only react badly with your bipolar.
I've been on duromine for a month. i am a vegan, don't smoke, don't drink alcohol. I have severe arthritis in my hips which stops me from running and doing any strenuous activity. After having two children I found it difficult to lose weight. Duromine helped me lose weight. i had no side affects but weight loss and have kept it off with a healthy diet and walking.
Dont assume or think things before you've experienced Duromine for yourself.
I have been on Duromine for 2 weeks and lost 8 kg, from 124kg to 116kg and still going strong. I do not starve myself, i eat meat and veg and fruits. I have not started with exercise, will soon do. I would like to start with loosing 20kg and take it from there. This needs discipline and drink lots of water.
I am a stay at home mother of 9 children, 34years old and my normal weight is approx 75kg. But 1 year after baby no.9 I just can't seem to drop past 105kg. I was depressed by this stage and just want to crawl into bed and never come out. I have been on the 30mg Duromine for 3 weeks and have lost 15kgs. I was pretty hesitant at first because of all the side effects as I always got heart palpitations from just 1x500ml can of an energy drink but reading pros and cons I had to try it.
Once I started on Duromine everything changed, my mood, energy levels were up, eating was down, stress levels at a low, Weight dropping. I did get headaches at first but i noticed when ever I missed a meal it was my body telling me to refuel even though I didn't want to, once I kept up with eating and keeping my fluids up it was gone and has not come back. I needed to lose the weight because it was affecting my health, my kids and especially hubby and I. But he is my rock he was real patient with me when I had a crazy schizo day and very supportive.
People have to understand that Duromine works differently on everyone, with me I have nothing but positive things happen. Yes you will lose the weight but you have to maintain it after you are off Duromine. Your food intake, regular exercise or even just keeping active everyday helps. I watched my sister lose 30kg in 12weeks while on Duromine and she really worked hard to push herself to lose it. (Was 125kg) her first month was tough but she kept going. She changed her whole lifestyle and lost a further 20kg in 5months after Duromine. She is my inspiration to achieve my goal.
i see this is an old post - I'm sure it will benefit new users who are searching for information online...
Drinking a lot of water isn't going to solve any weight problems really. a healthy low calorie diet is all you need with a little bit of water and a lot of training. i have spent many years of my life being an addict to water, even during the time when i trained and resumed a low calorie diet... water increases weight to your body. it will flush out toxins from your body - although a daily intake of 2L is not necessary at all.
