Duromine 30mg for two weeks

I have been on duromine 30mg for two weeks now and lost 10kgs I haven't personally experienced any side affects myself. For the first two days I felt full of energy and had no appetite at all however I managed to eat small snacks so my body had that extra natural energy and drank plenty of water which has now become a natural habbit before eating any meals. I did for the first 3 days wake up early hours of the morning feeling like I had slept for days however this soon had stopped by day four. I must say you need to exercise if you want results it's like anything else you want to achieve you must work to get results even if its a 25 minute walk its something. It is important you keep your fluid intake up even if you dont like water. :-D
Hey there, I started taking duromine about 4 and half months ago. I was weighing in at 178kgs (heaviest I’ve ever been) after losing my dad to cancer and being his carer it took its toll on me. I’m now weighing in at 135kgs. I know that is a lot of weight to lose and I’m over the moon, but I know I’ve got a long way to go before I hit my goal weight of under 90kgs. My doctor has agreed to keep me on them until i hit below a 100kgs. When I fished started the 40mg I was jittery and all over the place but within a week I was back to normal, I actually find they help me focus ALOT, this may having to do with my history with ADHD. Lately I’ve started to feel hungry a little more again and I’m worried the benefits of the medications are wearing off. I’m suggesting to my doctor if there’s any way I can up the dose but monitor it as much as possible. I don’t want the sleeve or lap band so I’m doing everything in my power to keep losing this weight. I don’t exercise much, as much as I would love to, I’ve stuffed my back coming off my horse as a teen and I’m in chronic pain 99% of the time, I do try walk as much as possible though and I’m eating quite well, I have a chest day every now and again, but for the most part it’s fruit, veg, red meats and white meats. I’ve stopped snacking on crap all together. I just hope I continue to lose weight the way I was! I’ve felt so horrible about myself for so long I’m finally feeling confident again. My metabolism was nonexistent bwfore these pills. I’m on a range of medications for depression, chronic anxiety, ptsd so they were slowing me down majorly.

Hi there.... Have you checked your thyroid?
Please, don't scare the people. Duromine isn't anything near amphetamines or similar drugs.
It is the best thing for losing weight in a healthy way.
I started a Duromine 30mg, but switched to 40mg after a couple of weeks. I haven't had an excessive losing of pounds in the first month, but after I started losing weight, my results were fascinating.
At the end, I lost almost 35 pounds! In just 4 months of using Duromine! It's quite something!
And I never experienced any side effects like mood swings, pain or fatigue. I only was thirsty very much, but think that's something everyone can cope with.
I have been an amphetamine user for almost 25yrs. I didnt lose weight during this time, like everbody else, as i have health issues. I have tried duromine whilst "using" which did not work. I am in recovery at the moment and have sought Duromine again hoping they will assist my weight loss this time. No matter what is said about the similarities betweeen methamphetamine and Duromine, i can tell you after having used both before, they're nothing alike for ppl like me. fingers crosssed!!!!!
I am currently on duromine 30mg and want to stop using it. What is a good diet to stay on?

Hi Beck
If you are unable to lose weight. Maybe check have a screening for thyroid or Hashimoto thyroid/disease.
I know this post was over a year ago, so hopefully you've found issue to lack of weight loss.
Keep safe
Well I can kind of attest to this as exercise makes me gain weight too! I started walking uphill for 30 mins a day for weeks combined with watching my dietary intake and I put on two kilos!! I did a test where I stopped the walk and continued on the same diet and lost two kilos!! It’s definitely a thing… maybe not for everyone though.
Could be a couple of reasons you’re not seeing results yet.
1. Increased exercise will lead to an increase of muscle mass. You might be losing fat but gaining muscle so the scales won’t budge just yet, don’t give up! Give it time and you might even notice your clothes getting looser before you see the kg drop!
2. Sometimes you could be exercising TOO MUCH. Crazy right?! So This happened to me, I calmed down on the cardio and started doing weight training. But also keep in mind the first point.
Exercising does not slow down weight loss. Exercising make you build muscle and muscles are heavier than fat....so you may weigh the same but you will have lost weight. that is why you must take your measurements so when you are changing your eating habits and not only rely on the number on the scale
