same here. I just read it may be related to diaphragm muscle tightening. due to lack of potassium possibly. check it out.
I wish you luck...what was the result?
I have had pain under right rib cage that can lead to spasms or cramp especially if I bend over on the right side. I have had all the scans, blood tests, endoscopy and what the found was a rather strange looking hernia that they think I must have had from birth so they don't believe this to cause my pain, I do drink alcohol at the weekends but It still happens even if I stop. Don't know what to do next, suppose I should be happy they didn't find anything bad but it drives me mad because I don't know when it is going to spasm or cramp
I read all of the replys and i also have same peoblem along with a golfball size alien that has pop out and i pushedit back in in the past and ayway the pain is still there !! My doc examine me while i was on my back once he got me to crunch it popped out he pushed it back in and said i have ventral hernia
Yes ive been getting the same ive had 2 ct scans shows all is normal, let me know please i want to investigate it more....
Yes, it's like bending over triggers it...it hurts and bulges and takes a minute or two to go away. It gets your attention and you have no other way to get rid of it but to stop bending and stand up...I can actually see the bulge in the mirror when it's happening. It hurts a lot. I could drop a few pounds but that is about it. I don't understand why this happens...I've had it for about 5 years now...and if I am really thin...it is better...but I don't look well that thin. Has anyone ever had a doctor really give them a diagnosis? Tie shoes...even sitting by the sink...and doing a pedicure...bammm it's there and I have to stop everything until it goes away. Most times than not...I don't ever get finished with what I wanted to do because I don't want that pain back.
I've been going through the some simulator problems for about a year and a half I've been to four different hospital er everybody said the smart thing ,I've had all tests done all the way to staying at a heart hospital but just recently I been experiencing major nausea feels like I want to vomit but can't,now that's strange. This is starting to annoy me,if their anyone experiencing the symptoms help me please.
having the same problems i started wearing my necklace with a quartz crystal in it...that made a boil come up on my inner thigh and the pain left my right side now, the boil has collected the poison most likely coming from my liver or pancreas and when it discharges i hope to be all well again...the quartz is energy provided from the earth used by people for thousands of years...its a great healing stone...please try it....
I am having really similar symptoms for past 2 years. I had blood tests, ultrasound, CT scan, kidney scan and rib x-Rays. Basically I have tenderness at bottom of ribs on right side, painful spot on back of ribs on right side and pain in hip on right side. All started around same time, a few months after I had a baby. Not normally overweight but I have been since this had happened as put it on while pregnant. They said not gallstones or fatty liver but can't help thinking it really feels like enlarged liver. Can't lie on that side when sleeping as feels like I'm lying on something. Maybe I just need to lose the weight but seems really hard this time round. Starting more blood tests and ultrasound again soon - waiting for appointment. Will post again if get any news.
This is exactly what I experience. Whenever I go to bend over and twist something or strain in anyway I get I big "Air filled bubble" on my right side and by my ribs, and the only way to fix it is by standing up straight and breathing with my hands over my head. I Wil look into the endoscopy. Hopefully it will find something, cause I'm kinda scared..
I'm having the same problem with my lower right rib. And when I lift my arms it shows where the "knot ' shows and when I breath in and out I could feel It ache a little it's annoying me and my husband both have this problem also my right shoulder. I thought it's was from working because I work a lot lifting and holding a machine all day long with no massage. I thought it was my upper right shoulder bone that felt dislocated at the time before i discovered the issue.. I don't know
I thought maybe it had to be because I was a few pounds over weight...I'm not fat...but thought just maybe. It is for me...like a huge knot like bulge that happens when I get the pain in the middle to the right near the sternum and rib...I thought maybe it a hernia or something. My pain is intense...I can see the bulge and push on it and have to straighten up...as bending over to tie shoes brings it on...it really hurts...for me a "10" while it is bulged. I've had it a few years now and have no clue why. Today I get a CT with contrast...I really do hope it shows something... I hate it when they make up stupid excuses... I've had a ultrasound of my gallbladder...Nothing! If I find anything out I will post it.
I get this all the time... it came on a few years back after I broke my ribs... it's really weird.. I have to stretch my body out to get it to go away... If I laugh, cough or am in any weird position it brings it on... and it is debilitating... to say the least.. I've not a Clue.. what it is....
I too have the same problem. when I bend over to tie a shoe, pick something up and especially if I am slightly twisting during the bend it feels like I have a muscle or something jammed up under my left rib cage (like its stuck or something) then I have to stand up stretch to work the pain out and stretch whatever it was that was stuck out to get back to normal it is extremely painful and happens all the time. I thought it might be because I have scoliosis but not sure. I know its not my gall bladder because I had it out already and its on the left side not the right. so no youre not crazy no one can figure it out with me either.
I have had the pain that feels like something gets hooked on my lower rib cage for 40 years. It mainly happened when I bend down from a seat position. I have always been able to lay flat on my back and I can feel it fall back into place. This morning Every time I tried to get up it would catch again. Doctors act like I'm nuts,so about 20 yrs ago I stopped asking. Today scared me.
