I’m 20, and I also am getting those lumps under my bikini line. They can be big, small, painful, or non painful. Sometimes there’s 1 or 2 but they come back. I’m wondering if you know what they are. I also think mine are lipoma that’s why I was attracted to your comment

Hi, where about a on your bikini line are they exactly?

Okay so if I’m sitting down and open my legs wide it’s literally like in my bikini line like in the middle. I had one like on the outside of my lip. The lumps seem to come out more on my left side than right. I’ve only had one on my right side and it went away and hasn’t came back. If only we could post pictures. I can literally pinch it and I feel the ball inside my skin.

It could be caused by one of several the glands you have around your labia area swelling up, a lot of woman find they come up at different times during the menstrual cycle sometimes big sometimes just small, do you notice any colour change on the skin over them at all?
You can always make an account on here then use a photo hosting site or Dropbox to store the photos and send the link by private message to me if you want to.

No I haven’t noticed them change color. Only once was one purple but it hurt so much even to have the underwear near it. I thought maybe it was pushing up against my muscle wrongly. I have not paid enough attention to see if they only come out around my cycle. I am due to get it soon and I currently have 2, one which is already shrinking on its own. I shall start trying to keep better track of them. How do you have any experience with this if you don’t mind me asking

Normally when they show up purple or red in colour and painful it's either an ingrowing hair or a boil and if you take a hot bath an put some Epsom salts in the water it will help same goes for putting a hot compress on it will bring it to a head. The other thing it could be if they are under the skin and painless are blocked sebaceous glands (oil gland in the skin). They commonly occur in the vulva and appear as a small, hard lump, which is generally painless. Sebaceous cysts do not require treatment unless they cause discomfort.
I learnt about this just by researching an going by replies from females that have been to the doctor an posted the results of what there's was.
Hope this helps you ☺

Thank you so much. I know I should have seen a doctor sooner. I just didn’t wanna hear bad news. I thought maybe it could be lipomas which is nothing serious either. It’s relieving to know nothing is majorly wrong and im not the only one getting these

Keep a check on them and when they occur during your cycle and see if they always come around the same time in your cycle as some have said before.
If you do keep on getting them and your concerned about it then I would advise a trip to your doctor but I'm sure they will just confirm what I said, if they are away from the sensitive part of your labia majora you could always try using the medicated facial wash that's used to clean skin pours to prevent acne or rubbing alcohol but be careful how close to your labia you use it or it will feel like your on fire down there lol.
Glad to help an if you have any more questions feel free to ask and I'll try to answer them ☺

Yes babygirl you should talk to your mom im a mom of a 16 and 13 yr old and i would want them to talk to me about something like this i know it can seem embarrassing but odds are that your mom has probably experienced the same thing im on this site now myself because iam having the same issue and its always best to let your parent know whats going on with your body as embarrassing as it seems so your mom can keep you healthy and keep your doctor and herself informed on what's happing inside your body and know that whatever is going on with you chances are that your mom and doctor has already been through the same thing or have treated or learned about the issue you body is going through..I hope it helps also im sure its just a ingrown hair or a cyst that is not cancer but sometimes will require a doctor to numb the area and drain the pressure and remove the cyst sac no biggie you do not get put to sleep and u r up and moving around after its done with mild discomfort i hope this helps good luck..n

I’m in the same position, I get them every few weeks or so but always in the same place, they start as bumps and then drain pus. It’s where the edge of my pants lies, just checking other people get this too. I think it’s nothing but god it hurts

So I've read most of these comments, and I have this too, it's on my bikini line, but I'm 14 not any older, and it's like one lump separating into two lumps of its just two and I can't tell, but it hurt when I push it, and I have shaved recently in the last, I wanna say 3 weeks. My mom made me out silver on it, and I put on a hot compress. Should I do anything else?
