I noticed it was sore while taking a shower, and unfortunately I have fat that hangs over, but mine looks like a round red spot or area, and I looked to see if it was caused by rubbing and when I checked it is rubbing on the hairline of my pelvic hair. I looked but it does not look like a rash and checked for other spots. Could this be caused by sweating?
so proud of your weight loss! I am having same issues. Thank you for your honesty and help....
I have used the dollar store antifungals and they work fine for an outbreak. However, as an ongoing preventive, after washing and drying completely, apply zinc oxide ointment to the affected area. You can usually find it in the baby section of the drugstore. It's used for diaper rash. Be sure and check the ingredients since all diaper rash ointments don't have zinc oxide.
This is one of the best answers I have heard for this problem. I will say, though, that sometimes you will get splits in the fold under your belly and any folds above front of thighs...when this happens, I find that triple antibiotic ointment (like Neosporin or just a generic triple antibiotic ointment from most any dollar store.) Swimming a lot seems to help, as well....(I've wondered about a mild solution of chlorine and water would help.
Many people have this type of problem. Sometimes even exercises do not help, and creams and lotions are a problem of their own what with unneeded and undesired chemicals. I have developed an undergarment to address these types of issues. They are called Tuck-Undies and are designed with moisture-wicking material to keep the under area dry and comfortable, and to help eliminate rashes, and the need for creams, lotions, or deodorant, or trips to the doctor for special treatments.

I am grossly overweight, I use dysatin and that keeps me dry.
Cornstarch provides a breeding ground for yeast infection.
Did it work
Thank you so much !
