Im on suboxin and toke a pain pill 24 hours later and it didnt work i have a question of my own i toke 10 mg of suboxin at 6 this morning and im already detoxing at 7:30 am ! Why is this happening please if anyone nows why please reply

Work places test for opioids not opiates. There is a difference. I've never tested positive taking any drug test. Because I don't take opioids. I take opiates.  Opioids are heroin, morphine. Opiates are hydrocodones, anything synthetic.

Subutext doesn't even have an opiate blocker in it. You can take whatever you want. I'm currently on subutext and had relapsed then went right back to subutext. Suboxone has an opiate blocker not subutext

You are correct. I work for a large company that make test for therapeutic and drugs of abuse. We just made a test this week for buprenorphine which is one of the active components in suboxone, So yes there is a test for it but not in the normal drug panel.

NowDays they have added the buphenorphone tab to their rapids . not all offices. But how are youto knows if it's yours?

This is absolutely not true. I'm on Suboxone and get tested for its presence, by urine, every time I see my doctor. It may not be a typical test for people to perform, but it is possible to be detected.

Yes it will be effective. Your tolerance will be back to normal again so if you have been a user of Narcotic pain relievers I would suggest you take it very easy at the start to make sure you don't over do it. `

Suboxone IS an OPIATE....buprenorphine is an opiate!.....it does get many high unless you are coming off something stronger than it...research....it's an agonist/antagonist meaning it will get you sick if the heroin, morphine, diludid, or fentanyl is not low enough in your system before taking it!

I'm sorry to jump in on someone page I just don't no how to use this in need so info i took 4mg of suboxone yes at 130pm and used today I no stupid but I wondering if I can still take my dose for today or do I have to wait

You will not feel any opiate until it's out of your body completely. If you take methadone before the sub is out of you will get extremely ill!! I actually did something the exact opposite, I had been on 120mg of methadone daily for a year. I decided to stop going. After several days I assumed the done was gone so I did a suboxone and I thought I was going to DIE!! MY entire body was on fire! My veins felt like hot lava was coursing through them. I vomited over and over again it took 3 hours to pass. I suggest NEVER take a sub with any opiates in your body. If you decide to take methadone you will be wasting it, try to wait until your in full w/d yes it's very hard to do but it will be worth it. Hope that helps. Goid luck. Michelle, Illinois
